I mean if you own a forum about weight loss, you can't send an email with some new deal for a PS4 or something.
Think about your audience, what are they interested in?
Then search online for products you could sell to them and get a commission for.

As other said, we need to know the niche in order to let you know what would be the best program to monetize it.
I think you can do a lot of money with a 120k List if its fresh but you first need to build some trust with your list.

First tell us what is the niche of your forum.
There is a lot of way to monetize an email list but without more information nobody can tell you exactly how to do it.

Exactly, you have to give more specifics.
I doubt if he really does have a list of 120k that he needs to spam his forum on here to get maybe 10 visitors..
