Hi guys,

Just wanted to check if I am on the right path here for my Tier 1 links for my new website. (First SEO project only 300 Monthly searches/month for keyword)

For my Tier 1 links, I am building 7 web 2.0 with all 100% unique content along with 1 Press release + 2 Article submissions in the first 2 weeks. Will put 10-20 PBN blog posts in the 3rd week.

Am I doing it right? Any other types of links I should add?

I would add some social bookmarks.
It is also good to show that your site is getting talked about on social networks. Perhaps some tweet with your link would do it...

That said, 300 searches/mo is quite low. You will really have to rank #1 to get some significant traffic.

300 searches a month i hope your not doing adsense. Is it a good niche?

I just picked a random industry ... I am not doing it to make money. Only doing it to learn SEO .. the website only has information, nothing to convert

Welll wouldnt it be nice if you wud have sratched your brain/head a bit more to put together a website with some purpose rather than disturbing others WEBSITE SERPS by trying to outrank just to prove that u learned SEO.
Atleast make some money of thd ranking if you do

Sounds like solid plan. You might want to look into adding some tier 2 links to your newly created web 2.0s. Else they won't help you much with rankings.

Your keyword has probably little to no competition, so you can almost rank with on-page seo only. Pick a high Adwords competition keyword with 5k+ monthly searches and try to rank that.

300 searches a month?? that too low i think for anything. well most of the things i can think about who will make you money. and for learning i think that search volume will be too easy.
so your plan should work.

Monthly 300 searches is too low. You are doing tier 1 for the such keyword.
It is strange. you just need some tier 3 links for getting rank on google at first page.
And kindly try finding another niche. (300 visitor daily) is not enough for us.
and your monthly searches should be at least 1K.

Hi,

Yes you are doing right in my opinion.

Build some strong tier 2 links and you will be good to move ahead if keyword is easy competition.

Thanks.

I believe he meant 300 per month. If your keyword has 300 searches per day, that's 9000 searches a month. I'd say that's a good keyword.

Oh guys I am sorry I meant that to be 3000 not 300! And also what kind of tier 2 links should I build? Form profiles, blog comments, or more 2.0's? What generally does tier 2 and 3 consist off?

tier 2 I do contextual do follow links. and tier 3 blast those with everything and anything.

sometimes if i want quick results on my tier 2 I do profiles, wikis, social bookmarks and article submissions and blast those.

Are your Tier 2 done manually or are you using a software like GSA? and for Tier 3 I am assuming you go ballistic with something like GSA?

Yes anything beyond tier 1 for me i do automatically using GSA SER or whatever. And tier 3 is all engines (do-follow only)

300 searches on buying keyword and high value product is plenty enough.

Don't listen to the naysayers who naysay, your focus is on learning and this will give you a good foundation to start from. In SEO, no matter how much you're making, they best way to long-term success is to keep experimenting -- you should always have at least one project on the side for learning purposes, whether it makes money right now is irrelevant, that knowledge will make you much more in the long run.

As far as the linking, it looks solid so far. Keep up what you're doing now and build on it; go through the top results for your kw and post one or two high quality blog comments if available, follow or no follow. I've always found that to be something very easy to do and tends to funnel traffic to the site long-term in a lot of niches. Keep building up web 2.0.s, and getting a few PBN links if that's your thing and work on your tier 2 links. Since this is for learning purposes, do what you feel will work and modify accordingly. Once the money starts coming in, keep an eye out for solid expired domains. Slowly picking em up over the period of a year will get you a pretty solid network over time. If you're in for the long-haul, focus on learning and slowly building up your internet real-estate.

If you're going to use PBN I highly recommend you to NOT build all the 10-20 links in one day but you should drip feed them maybe 1-3 per day or two (make it random) and make sure to use different date and time when you schedule a new post and for the love of god man don't use Admin as a publisher for every freaking post, change it up a bit.
