You're right, it is a ridiculously broad question. I do apologise for my stupidity.

What I'm trying to get at is this: surely there are 'more lucrative' niches than others? I'm relatively new to Instagram, but I have plenty of experience in the field of YouTube (genuine content stuff) and some kinds of content are just better suited, and do far better for views etc, than others.

Isn't it the same with Instagram? Surely there's a reason why whenever someone mentions the niche of their account on here the same ones keep popping up? Or is this pure coincidence?

Yes, like LleixG says, all niches can work. But surely it isn't stupid for me to think that there are some that work better than others given the demographic of Instagram? Ones that have people more willing to spend money than others? Ones that grow faster than others?

As an example, I've seen from my personal experience one particular niche that grows twice as fast as the other ones I have experimented with. However, it really doesn't convert as well as others into sales, because the demographic doesn't have much disposable income. Well, that's my theory anyway.

I know my question wasn't exactly elaborate, but given the context of it being asked on a forum such as this, I did think people would be able to read between the lines... :S

The best niche is one you discover yourself and grow to unforeseen heights.

The same type of niches that work on other social platforms such as Twitter would work wonders with Instagram because the way these two sites function are very similar.
