Google Keyword Planner seems off

Hello all,

I've been looking for good keywords for a niche site. To test things out, I entered "Best Electronic Shavers" into the google keyword planner tool. I set the search to be United States, All Languages, and 12 month history period. The results showed that there are only 50 monthly searches for this keyword. The 50 searches a month for this keyword doesn't seem accurate.

Am I doing something wrong?

test it with few other keywords and share that result here as well. It doesn't look like there is anything wrong with this result.

Try using variations or synonyms for those keywords. Even though "Best Electronic Shavers" doesn't get as many searches, "Best Electric Shavers" may get many more results.
