PLEASE help me change this freakin FONT!!!

This is driving me crazy. My default browser font looks like this and I have no idea what font it is or how to change it:

I'm using Chrome and I've already tried

Settings > Advanced > Web Content > Customize fonts

But my fonts are Times, Arial, and Consolas for fixed width

And the font showing up as my DEFAULT is CLEARLY NONE OF THOSE!

So wtf is going on?? Can someone please help me reset this to default? And I've even tried the "reset" setting

Heck I've even tried uninstalling and re-installing Chrome itself...

I hate this ugly font and it's driving me crazy.

this is what seems to be working for most people: "Type "chrome://flags/#disable-direct-write" in your address bar, select "enable" under "disable directwrite", and then "restart chrome" at bottom."

Unfortunately, that did not work for me

But the font in the OP of the URL you linked me to is the EXACT font that I'm getting right now.

And to answer another question, my OS is Windows 7.

So it looks like the OP in that URL you linked me to solved the problem by simply deleting the font. Thanks to that thread, I now know what that font is, and I've just deleted it, so if it's gone after I restart you are my hero today, Honeybird
