Hi,

I would like to know if there is a script out in the market that can bid for you automatically in GoDaddy Auctions.

The core is simple:

- Determine which domain you want to buy
- Determine the maximum amount you are willing to pay
- 5 minutes before the auction ends, place the bid automatically

If there is nothing out there, I would be interested in building one with something else who will be interested.

Thanks

No one interested in this? Maybe is not the right subforum.

You do know that you can just set a max, proxy, bid and GoDaddy will bid for you automatically. What is the point of this script? Serious players know that noobs come in the last 5 minutes thinking they will buy domain for penuts, but the biggest battle is always in the last 5 minutes.

Simply put the maximum amount you are willing to pay as the bid. Godaddy will then keep putting a proxy bid on your behalf, till it reaches your max bid.

As an example if the current bid is $20 and you need to put $25 to be the top bidder, decide on how much you will pay for the domain say $100 and put this as your bid. Godaddy will then put your bid as $25 and then every time someone bids on top of it, Godaddy will put proxy bids on your behalf as long as the bid required is not more than $100

Yes, I know that but it will always be better to not inflate the price til the bid is coming to the end, similar to eBay auctions. That is the reason why I am asking that.
