URL question - multiple languages

Hi

I'm not sure if it's suitable to post my issue here. Anyway, here it is.
I have my articles from an English website translated and would like to post them onto ES/DE/IT/FR... websites, WordPress built. But I'm not sure how to write the URLs of the posts. Should I use English or multiple languages? Which one is better for SEO? Any justification or proof? Thank you!

If articles translated then I recommend to write deep URLs in multiple languages.

URL should be the same language as the content.

For example:

domain.com/de/url-frage-mehrere-sprachen

and German content.

Some of them are Russian, Japanese or Chinese, shall I use English for them? I found the URL in those languages will show as gibberish characters.

It's better to use english instead of special characters.

Along with url, consider using hreflang attribute to specify the language of the page
