Curious.. I just funded up a PPV account. I'm running the offer(s) on facebook, and my landers are getting a click through rate (to the offer) of about 35-45% depending. The PPV network (one of the best ones) today showed 35 clicks to my lander, but 2 clicked through to the offer (so 5.71% Click Through).

Now I'm pretty sure all those on the PPV networks are infected, have malware, search bars, etc -- and because of this I'm NOT bidding on pops. I'm bidding on CPC of a 300x250 image. I did this because I didn't wanna force my lander on someone, I wanted them to be genuinly interested (hence click) but yet the ctr is still 5.71%?

I know it's a very small test (35 clicks), and it's day 1.

Any thoughts on this? Is it just because it's ppv?

....but again im not bidding on forced pops, but the 250x300 ads.

:bump:

232 people walked in here and no response? Lol. Low response rate like the ppv I'm doing :-)

What network? Some PPV networks are shady. For example using LeadImpact and bidding on pops plenty of traffic had IE7 user agent and screen resolution was like 700x20 (means my pop was nearly invisible).

Sorry, doing text ads on traffic Vance

You think 5.71 percent is really that bad for PPV?

Well see, my question is - "I don't know". For comparison though, I'm running the same lander on Facebook and my CTR to the offer on average is 40%. So I run this on TV, and I'm getting the 5.7% avg. Of course it could come down to say "targeting", or the fact these people are just merely infected with malware/spyware/whatever -- but I was just wondering if there was a "going rate" of click through % to the offer from your lander on PPV traffic.

I don't know if I should be aiming higher, or this is considered good. I'm not doing the forced popup method, but rather the intext/click ads. So people that click, must be interested - yet the CTR to the offer remains low. Was just confused and asking for the forums opinion on this ":-)

If anyone else can chime in, I'd appreciate it :-)

Bump... 318 clicks today, 8 clicked thru to the offer. Comparison? Same lander got me a 42% ctr to offer on facebook.

network trafficvance. Bidding on the 300x250 ads (CPc) too

That sucks, what about click costs? Are clicks targetted?

Did you solve your questions? It sounds like the ads might be different from how FB displays them.
