I need a common ISP's VPS! Possible?

Hello.


I am looking for VPS from any of these country:

• Australia
• United States
• United Kingdom
• Netherlands
• France

The best would be UK/US/AUS, and the main thing is that the VPS must imitate a regular home connection with a common ISP, like Comcast, British Telecom, Bigpond.


Is this possible? Is there a VPS like this? Money is not an issue.

I doubt you would get any server / VPS that would look like a residential connection. If someone looks up the IP address of the server you use they will see its in a datacentre and your plan is over

You would have to find proxies that do the imitating, not the vps. Then just run those proxies on the vps, if you can find any.

Yeah, but I was wondering if any of the big companies offer VPS, but I guess not.

I need a FIX IP, that works all the time. Most of the time proxies are unreliable, and is easily detected. I want to simulate a home connection or a universitry/librarys connection.

There are some providers here that offer private dedicated proxies. You can also ask them if the proxies they sell are good enough for your purpose. Sorry, I wasn't suggesting crappy proxies like you mention. You'll probably have to buy more than one if you go this route, but I can't think of any other way of doing it. Good luck.

There is another way of doing it at a guess, but it will depend on how much checking the other end does. You will have to find a VPS provider that will allow you to set your own RDNS and then stick a residential looking name in there. To do that you will have to find a proper UK IP address from something like a BT user, do an IP lookup and you will get the canonical name.....set that as your rdn and hope for the best.

You log in to a vps which is connected to a ISP used by consumers. But the people who offer this only use ISP's located in the US.

This sounds like it could work for me. US is totally fine with me. Where can I find something like this?

This would work, if I had a friend in the US. I live in Europe and finding someone who I trust a 100% would be really hard.

You can look at associative web hosting providers which are people who are hosting servers in their own garage using regular home connections.
It is cheap as it isn't to make any kind of profit but it is more by passion of managing servers.
Of course, you wouldn't get the same of redundancy as you would get with a professional provider (electrical, network, UPS and so on) but it would provide what you are looking for.
I'm aware of such association in France only so far.
