I'm sure that we have all been through periods of extreme motivation and periods of extreme sloth.

What do you use to keep you motivated? Muse, family, seeing the earnings rolling in, satisfied customers, internal clock that never stops ticking? what?

Also, how many hours of solid work do you usually put in any given day / week?

If we were all just doing this for money, then you can't be very happy, no matter how much you make.

Investing in some stock could be good to diversity the portfolio, its something that Im considering.

Concern for my future is what drives me. Although I procrastinate from time to time, but who doesn't.

Yeah I do too, i was wondering what do you do when you are in a procrastination period?

Those are the keys to success. Loving what you do and finding a way to monetize it!
