How do you... erm... register on Instagram?

Jesus fing Christ. I cannot believe that I'm actually asking this.

How do you register on Instagram with a Lap Top? Windows 7 or/and 8?

I mean, the only thing I found is something called InstaPic for Windows 8, but still I can only seem to be able to continue if I insert my microsoft account credentials, which I assume would link Instagram and that email, and I don't want that. I want to register like on all the other social media sites. Pick my email, pick my password, done.

And I didn't find any way to register on Instagram's homepage.

Do all of you guys use instagram (and the bots and iMacros and scripts and programs for it) with Mobile Devices?

You need the app so you have to have a mobile device and download it from the ios/google play store if you cant then you have to then download a mobile emulator for windows ie. Bluestacks , Genymotion etcc

Well, I have a mobile device. Nokia Old, Nokia Ancient, and Nokia Before Christ. Hey, at least the NSA can't track my dumb phones haha

Anyway. I'm gonna have to take a look at Bluestacks and Genymotion. Thanks for the tip

Is any specific app recommended for internet marketing things? Because let's face it, I'm not exactly registering to socialize haha

Okay. I watched a video about Bluestacks and apparently it's still connected to an email, except this connects with my gmail email.

Can anyone shed some light on this fo me?

Here's what I want to do, in the next week or so.

1. Register 5 accounts
2. Start using them to follow/like on AMF, YLH etc.
3. And start getting followers from AMF, YLH, etc.
4. Post some pictures from some blogs I have, and some for my personal account
5. Do It All With Using Only a Lap Top

If you are liking and following all from 1 IP at a time, you MIGHT get PVA or ban.

Honestly I find this useless. All your followers will be inactive. You might as well just use a bot on the tag "f4f".
You'll gain quite a few followers but they'll be inactive.

Okay. I got BlueStacks going, and I accessed Instagram

As I tried to login it tells me that my IP address has been identified as a proxy... WTF??? :wt:

I'll restart my router for a minute and hopefully when I restart it the next IP is going to be legit.

I actually had this happen one more time to me, being told that my IP has been identified as a proxy, when in fact I'm not using a proxy. And I had it happen to me on this Health forum where I've been a member with no such issues for years.

Oh well, let's see now.

After completing a full-assessment. A thorough review. I came to the conclusion that Instagram Sucks!

try clearing the app cash from BS, drag around the clock on your top right > options > advanced > appilcations > instagram > clear cach and data too..if you keep getting the ip adress identified..error mesage your best bet is to use proxies, BS doesn't have proxy options. use proxycap to mount proxies for BS, there are tutorials online on how to do that just use google

I actually did try mounting proxies for BS with Proxycap, and I didn't manage to do it successfully with that one tutorial I followed. Then I was going to follow a different tutorial, but decided against it. Fuck it. If instagram wants to shut people off like that, so be it. If I had issues with my IP on other sites then I'd take it up with my ISP, but that is not the case, and I have accounts on over 100 sites online from social media to ptc to forums etc...

Besides, even if I did manage to register using a proxy, then what? I don't want to have to use a proxy every time I login to instagram. I want to be able to use everything on my Firefox and to a lesser extent Chrome web browsers. Anything other than that is just extra headache.

When and if instagram decides to smarten up and expand their services to fucking computers properly, and drops the IP nazi mentality (assuming it's really an IP issue), then I'll probably register. Until then, I'll just spit on instagerm when the opportunity arises. instagram sucks. I won't even capitalize it anymore!

I did use it. That's how I managed to get to the Registration page. But then when I fill the form with my username, password and e-mail, I get the IP error and that's it. I can't register. I restarted my router like 5 times, the IP address changed, still the same problem.

right, it's changing the user agent, so the addon in itself works, but not for this purpose
i don't see how this could work at all, changing the user agent is not enough, you need the instagram app to be present on your PC to be able to register for the very same reason why you can't just sign up through the web interface and you can't install the instagram app in Chrome (not even w/ spoofed user agent), you'd need an android emulator like Bluestacks

I found and used an extension on Firefox, although it just has iPhone 3.0 as an option, and that didn't work.

I'll give it a shot on Chrome too. Will report.

It definitely wasn't me. Who knows, you're probably right. These IPs flow from person to person, who knows what they may have been used for. But why do I have to pay the price?

it didn't work and it won't, because of what i added to my post above, quoting myself, that's a first i think
