Hi,

My name is Adam and I am IM noob. I needed to gather a very targeted list of facebook members to promote my Kickstarter campaign so I bought ULeadPro. This is extremely powerful software and is super easy to use even for a newb like me! I can't wait to see how my custom audience converts with this awesome software. I also want to compliment the amazing support I have received since purchasing...everytime I submit a question I get a response within a minute...amazing!

Only to give you an idea: I searched for closed groups in a specific niche (found 100!) and one of these groups has around 5.000 members. This beauty scraped 4.200 Facebook emails from that group alone. Other scrapers didn't even came close to this (I tested 2 others as well). The other group is around 10.000 members and I got around 8.000 emails. The first group took around 1 1/2 hours (my computer is slow). Facebook didn't even flicker (hopefully it stays so).

Thanks for sharing. May I know how do you scrape up to 8000 email (in a single time) ? I tried many fan page/ groups but the maximum I can get only 5000 UIDs or Email. I can never go up to 6k.

I actually did it in 2 sessions (one with 2.500, another with 5.500). I started scraping another group (of 10K members) and got to 7.500 emails then Chrome crashed and the scraping results of almost 2 hours where gone. I did all of this with the Chrome Plug-in (temporary solution since the Original Desktop software was unavailable yesterday). Maybe the Desktop version gets much more. I have to see. It seems that Sasha solved the problem and now it is back to the Desktop version (instead of using a Chrome extension). Chrome would crash every time I reached around 7.000 emails. Hope that helps. :)

Thanks for the respond. Yeah I did 2 or more (with different search variation) sessions as well. I thought you did it for one time only and get 7500 email. Haha. Anyway, thanks!

Giving some feedback. Might be that others are experiencing this as well. Maybe it's only me.

Installed the new version. Runs SUPER-FAST (much faster than the Chrome plug-in). I am just not getting as much scraping results back. Used a simple Query (People who are members of [GROUP]) on a Group with 2.000 members and got only 87 emails back. Used another simple Query (again People who are members of a certain Group). This time out of 55.000 members I got 6.000 back (in one go).

This is not complaining. I don't expect to get 100% results back, just informing. Maybe FB changes are messing with your Algorithm, or something else.

By the way, did you hear that FB is planning to launch some big changes to the Ad network by next week? Hopefully this will not get in the way with your fantastic software!
 
How can you use it in laser targeting FB ads after FB's T&C modification of using cust audiences ( UID not allowed, etc.)

Hi, please use multiple quires in order to see maximum results per scrape!

Alright guys and girls, so as many of you know Facebook has come out with an UPDATE to their Custom Audience.

NOW, you are required to input an App ID which is connected to your fan page or website from where your ids came from.

Since we are scraping these ids and they are not coming from us, the new way to import is by EMAIL.

So when you are scraping, EXPORT the list as emails, and upload your audience as emails not ids.

Yes since Facebook does have limitations with their Graph Search (BETA), in order to scrape maximum results from pages or groups please use variations in your quires.

  • People who are in [GROUP] * Also works on closed groups!
  • [PROFESSION] who live in [PLACE]
  • People who like [INTEREST] and [INTEREST] and [INTEREST]

Remember: In order to use Facebook Graph Search and have it working with Ulead Pro, please use a US English PVA account!

As I see this the Software is like a Power tool. You still have to know how to use it. A crafty handy man will do more with a small tool box than the clumsy do-it-yourselfer with a complete tool shop.

The most important thing with this tool is to know your target audiences. To construct smart queries and to combine the results to powerful audiences. You also still need to have a good ad and a converting product.

I am very happy with this software, even if it's not 100% (yet?), because you learn a lot just by using it. It really forces you to think in a certain way. One result I got from this is that I found a method to know for sure who has a credit card AND is willing to use it on the Internet. This alone is pure Gold. I am very excited about the possibilities.

So, Ladies and Gentleman, get down to work and make this little sucker work for you.

Hi thank you for your inquiry.

1. Regarding creating a FB account and verifying with a french number, I could not tell you. Do try and see if it works. Make sure you set it to US ENGLISH language and check if graph search works.

2. For your protection and ours we only except Paypal.

Hi thank you for your inquiry.

As far as paying for ads with an unverified paypal account I could not tell you. What I can is advise you to make a REAL account JUST for your Facebook Ads and have some spare dummy US ENGLISH PVA accounts just for scraping :)
