Opportunity to buy PTC Site

Well I have got the opportunity to buy a PTC website ( like bux.to ) for a very very low price.

The admin says that he makes anywhere between 300 - 500$ every month. The site has got around 400 user.

So my question is for how much money could I sell this website? and where is the best place? sitepoint? dp?

If he is actually making $300-$500 a month, you could sell anywhere from $1800-$3000. Most people are willing to pay at least 6 month's earnings. Or you could build it up a little more and sell it for even more.

$300-$500 a month from a site with under 500 members (total) is impossible for a PTC site in almost every situation (unless incredibly momentized with 500 very enthusiastic members).

Did you ask him why he is selling the site ? I always question offers like that, that tell you how much money they are making and stuff. If it's to good to be true it's probably not true at all.

sorry to crush your dreams but I can tell you right now that this admin is playing you!
He is maybe making 300-500$ a month but there is no profit from it. If you are serious about getting a PTC site I can help you with that just PM me.

I would say something like 500 members high on speed, that should be more accurate!!

Tell the admin to show you revenue proof and then sell the site on SP for 5-6 times the monthly revenue. Btw how much is he selling it?

well actually this is an auction on a swedish website. THe thing is that no swedish guy will buy the site because the ptc site is in english and all the members are only english speaking.
That's the reason why the price is still at.. really ridiculous.. 1,50? and the auction ends in a few hours.. so I think I will buy this site.. even if the price goes up a little bit..

I thought already that this is to good to be true.. but man.. for this price it is worth trying in my opinion.. even if I sell it as a startup website..
