Which method is bets to get high % follow back ?

I have minimum 15-20 high quality boards, and when I want get followers, I taking them from big boards which is from my niche. my following strategy is this: I making like, then after ~2-3 second re-pin (another pin) and after ~3-5 second making follow, but only 1-5 % following me back : (((

what is best method for you?

i guess the same general pointers can be followed what you would follow on any other social media site

make sure you follow real people and not bots, also they should be active and in the niche you target
other thing is your profile, is it enticing/interesting enough to "earn" a followback from a complete stranger?

how to do this exactly on pinterest? i wouldn't know, pinterest is one of the few social networks i haven't touched yet

for instance on twitter if a user don't have a profile pic, it's a red flag right away, if a user tweets (almost) only links, it's another red flag, those are more than likely bot accs and as such, don't worth to follow
user activity can be decided by looking at the time of the last tweet
now for twitter, there are tools which can do this job instead of you with pretty good accuracy, determining if a user is a bot/real person and how active he is
if something along these lines exists for pinterest, good for you, if not, tough luck

This is nice but I asking about method I want method exactly for pinterest ))))
