I've been up all night.... like pretty much always trying to find a side hustle and a way to make some bank.


After researching EBAY items... and what sells.


I realized... ANYTHING WILL SELL ON EBAY!!!!


I saw someone selling their used Mascara (Make Up) and it had like 10 watchers and 7 bids and I believe it sold for like $8.60 ... Someone sold their broken computer mouse for $8.00 and someone sold a piggy bank for $4.00

and I know that those are low amounts of money especially due to EBay's fees! However, it still money and it just shows that things can be sold and things add up. The only thing is you will have to find a way to remove sell limits...

However, I learned that pretty much anything will sell on EBAY... even if it's a small profit that you're making... it could still add up. I also realized that 50% of Ebay buyers are HOARDERS... and they will buy anything.

Last night I wrote some things I could buy on craigslist with a budget of $15.00 and flip the item(s) on Ebay for $30.00 ... that's just a $15.00 profit... or like a $12.00 profit with eBay's fees and sh!t.

But say if you got a $12.00 profit on 12 items that's a $144.00 profit.... OR MORE if you expand your choice of items.

And I know this is OBVIOUS information and people been buying and flipping for years... and it's nothing new. However, to those that think flipping on EBAY is DEAD and is not motivated to sell on EBAY... this is for you! Because for so long... I thought EBAY was dead simply because it's too much competition. However, I truly believe the used items will sell quicker than new items... because hoarders are always looking for bargains and they are obsessed with buying JUNK!!!!! That's there addiction and you can definitely profit off of them....

There are people who do this for a living but there's obviously a lot of variables to make this work. This isn't as easy as picking an item and hoping it will sell. You gotta worry about the product quality (if you plan on buying on bulk), chargebacks from customers who think you gave them a low quality item, paypal/ebay limiting your account due to "suspicious activity" and the list goes on.

This is like me saying, there's a million people in the internet everyday and this cpa offer is "hot". I'm going to promote this offer to them and I'm sure I can make AT LEAST xxx per day since so many people want it. WRONG. Again, a lot of variables to consider when it comes to profitability.

Exactly.... You are definitely right. I think the way people view it.... turns them off. They think like "Well, a $5 profit isn't much"... and they try to go big and buy more expensive items to make a bigger profit... in which it is hard to sell expensive items because not only is it compatible... but people will rather buy something NEW if they are going to spend big money anyway... therefore, the small profits is the way to go.... $5 to $10 profit adds up and you will be able to sell quicker with this method.

Yeah you're right... there's always a challenge and a downside. However, I'm just speaking in general. If I make sure that I mention the pros and cons and honest condition of the item on ebay... and the ebay buyer already know what they are getting --- then that will decrease the chance of a complaint and a bad rating.

Also... The paypal "suspicion activity" thing is def something to think about... but the fact that I have a business account then I might be okay.

I mean... we can't think this way... if that's the case this will hold back all of the ebay sellers.... The things you mentioned that could go wrong... can be avoided. You have a negative vibe which is why you probably will never make money.

We know that there's so many things that can go wrong with this method... but no one is going to think these things into existence.

I apogolize for being so blunt. I've been in the IM game for 6 years. One lesson I can tell you is, don't expect everything to go your way when you start any project.

This method right here is doable. Just like any other method in BHW. If we only thought about the pros of a method, then you won't be prepared for the cons. It's a good idea to balance both.

Oh, to assume I never made money online.. well.. My best day was $5k in 5 hours.

Never doubted that you didn't make any money.... I said with the way you are thinking is PROBABLY why you will never make money.... meaning in this scenario on ebay.

Secondly, I agree with you on you have to think of the downside of things... That I totally agree and I thank you for that input.

However, I'm just saying... I will never think like this going into any methods --- I mean, I know that there's downsides to it and I am aware of them and know they can happen...but if I worried about those things then it would just turn me off and I would give up before trying. It's basically all about trying to cover your marks and avoid the downsides... but this was just a method on how to make a few pennies.

And, Congrats on making $5,000 in 5 hours... You definitely are a master mind. I can't even make 5 cents in an minute...

I didn't mean to get your hopes down. You should try this method and make a journey thread. There's a lot of info out there about ebay and as well as dropshipping. Take massive action bro and eventually you'll succeed.

So have you tried buying and selling on eBay yet ?

You are right it is amazing what can sell on ebay. But you would also be suprised at what doesnt sell. So if your plan of buying on CL and selling on eBay is estimating a 100% success rate then you are way out. I guarantee you that within 2-3 months you will have a few thousand tied up in unsold borderline unsaleable stock and that will be taking up a garage or storage units worth of space.

I know a couple of people making a full time living on ebay and you are sooooo right about the hoarders aspect, people just can't stop themselves 'collecting' and thats where you can make money with popular 'cult' fans as well.

The 3 people i know who are successful at it do the following;

1 sells all the free samples you can get from all over the internet and in person from magazines and beauty store samples. She now gets a whole section in a national paper for all her money saving places to go.

The 2nd lady buys big branded normally high priced items from TK Maxx and sells to people abroad. Then she goes to the US 3 months a year to buy for the UK market. She was a fashion student and has been doing it for over 10 years.

The other buys certain items from cheap places like 99p stores and sells at a good mark up to people who cant get out, live a long way from any stores or live in a different country who can't get these things. Look at the cost of some everyday food items on Amazon for 3 times the cost.

Yeah... you're right there will be lots of stuff that won't sell --- and "Computer Printers" is one of them... Printers is one of the items that sell very slow... unless it's an all in-one or some type of 3d printer than those will definitely sell... but normal printers people aren't buying like that, I'm guessing because everyone have one... just like a computer.

Also consider that eBay policies are at its most stringent so its not exactly the best environment to be selling in. When your knee deep in processing refunds, cancellations, sending replacements, answering a never-ending amount of emails, getting blackmailed, having SNAD, INR and charge back cases against you and spending hours a day on the phone to customer service...your enthusiasm slowly goes.
