shoutouts? how much followers to expect?

Hello, BHW!
So, I am new to Instagram.
Have a question.
Lets imagine I have a new account and want to get followers.
I go and buy a shoutout on account with 50k followers.
How much followers should I expect to get from this shoutout?

You might be better off just buying one? It'll set you back like $25-50, but it might be worth the research.

I haven't personally purchased a shout out, so bear that in mind, but from shouting out other accounts of my own in the same niche, I've experienced anywhere from 1% to about 4% of the followers moving over and following the other account.

In my opinion, the number of followers the shoutout goes out to (in your example: 50k), really isn't as big a factor as others: such as how many of the followers are engaged and active on that account, what time the shoutout goes out (that has been a big one for me) and even the image/caption that is used.

So if you're buying a shoutout, I'd personally check that you'd have control over these other factors as well (especially the timing - but it's really hard to tell what time works best for your niche without having burnt your fingers a few times)

You would be surprised how stupid some people are, look on EBAY. There's tons of accounts for sale there and you could easily snatch one for 50 USD.

FYI - 50K isnt much lol, that's two weeks of work.

Dear Battleaxewarriors,
please.. please tell me how the heck i can get 50k in two weeks? My IG Account is like 6 weeks old already and i am at 3,1k followers and 250-500 likes each picture.
Am i doing something that terribly wrong? I use Megabot and post Quality pics in my niche, i get many comments too.
