who said that? Indians don't care anything about their phones. They'll install shit for peanuts. My advice is amulyam/ultoo offers free recharge for small tasks. Just pay them and they'll list your app there. It costs less than peanuts

The only thing I can conclude from this is that you never tried this...
I am from India too and can assure you that works, just print 2-3k pamphlet and in that pamphlet have your apps QR code too..
Pay some guy to distribute those in your nearest university colleges, pin them to some libraries and see the result yourself.
Your other option will be to pay someone to get you the installs.
