[SUGGESTION] Make BHW a private forum

There are so many spammers and scammers are signing up every day on bhw. Shitlist is useless against noobs, as they don't care about their accounts and they creating the new accounts after ban. Some people are creating the multiple accounts to sell them. BHW already have enough users, its time to stop public registration and start registration through invitation only. This improves the quality of bhw and reduce the workload on mods. Enable invitation feature to only gold members with 500 posts and jr.vip and above. Only limited number of invitations per month like unpaid power members and above can invite 2 people per month for jr.vips 5 per month, jr. Exec vip 10 per month and above unlimited invitations.

IM is saturated, but it doesn't mean everyone's doing it right. As for this forum going private, you do realize the largest income is from Ads? Less traffic is a terrible idea and spam accounts should be handled with a better solution.

nah I disagreed. One can simply ignores the spamming threads by not replying it and let it rot to the bottom and as for scamming, it happens everywhere, every second, no way we can prevent it....do one's due diligence and you will not get scammed.

Strongly disagree. This is an internet marketing forum. People come here to learn new things, keep up on the latest updates regarding everything from SEO to the latest online currency. Making this forum private would not be smart in a business sense whatsoever. It lacks practicality as well. Spammers and scammers are quickly found out. Sure, some take longer than others, but they eventually trip over their own feet.

It is a nice suggestion, but with the ever changing methods, state of CPA markets, niche's, payment processors, and new monetization techniques that come to light weekly on this forum, it would not be wise.

If someone is daft enough to do business with a brand new member who has no track record, that's their own fault.

Every day there are threads by newbies which are immediately followed by warning posts that they are probably scamming - if someone ignores these constant warnings, that's their own problem.

But Agreeing with everyone on the fact that this is a stupid idea. Just follow a little bit of causion and common sense and you can avoid the scammers, and the spammers are being handled quite effectively after all.

There were several exceptions in my mind when I wrote it - some banks, private members clubs, business catering to the wealthy, etc.

But I think in most cases it would be business suicide.
