I use to check my email and delete junk from the phone before I got out of bed. Although it was effective, it didn't put me in the best mood. Now, I do not check email on my phone until I am at the computer and ready to work. Things are much better for me this way.

After 3 weeks of traveling I'm out of any schedule, but I can share you my best schedule for workdays which I developed last summer:

08:30 Get up, eat strong breakfast
10:30-11:00 Cycle to the gym (4km away) - a perfect warm-up
11:00-13:00 Workout
13:00-13:30 Cycle back home
13:30-15:00 Lunch and ~30min nap
15:00-19:00 Working (developing websites) - distraction free (no fb/gmail, phone sound is turned off) with breaks every hour +drink a lot of water
19:00-20:30 Other tasks (not requiring laser-sharp mind :) - like checking email, paying bills etc.)
20:30-21:30 Dinner
21:30-01:00 Free time

On no-gym days I would go to a swimming pool or just work more... :)
It takes some time to adjust to this schedule (like any other habit), but when I did, I was very productive and my physical wellbeing was in a perfect condition! I also found that sport helps me with keeping disciplined and fully awake (I don't drink any caffeine products during the day, except 1 cup of tea with breakfast, but most likely it's just an old habit).
On weekends I tried not to think about my work at all - because I believe that if a person is working 7 days a week, soon (s)he will become too tired.

Sounds like a lot of work. But nice planning otherwise. Motivates to change my schedule instead of sitting behind the computer 24/7

LOL most of you are lying, you are sitting on BHW all day long reading.

Most interesting thing is most all of you workout, I will see the BHW convention group photo and see who is lying LOL
