G Scraper/ Scrapebox

Which do you prefer to get a big list of links for GSA SER...G Scraper or Scrapebox?

I have heard that G Scraper is faster, but read something about having to pay $66 per month for proxies?? Is it not possible to use maybe 10 semi-dedicated proxies from buyproxies.org? I would like to be able to scrape a verified list of 100k links per week..

Gscraper is by now the best for scraping.
Had bought scrapebox and I could not scrape with public proxies. But on the other hand the dev team of scrapebox is releasing soon the new version of scrapebox, and one member here had said that it is going to be a beast in scraping.

I am scraping 4/5k urls per minite with gscraper just by using public proxies. I have tested their own proxies from their servers. I think it is free you just need to click on a button and it will load there proxies from the server.

I like to use gScraper for scraping, and Scrapebox for other things, filtering lists, grabbing email addresses, etc.

i never used gscraper, but you can scrape more than that in a day with scrapebox, but then again i have used private proxies, but i think if you scrape proxies for two hours or so, you could do this with public proxies too

both software are beast on scraper things. i think if you have scrapebox, you don't have to buy gscraper, but if you want to try, you can download it for free, just to scrape anything you want. and hey, the price of both software its worth for the value that we've got. for gscraper, i am agree its really fast. i have 2 lisence for gscrape and 1 lisence for scrapebox and i use both to scrape my list.

for the proxies on gscraper, you can scrape the proxy with other software like gather proxy and its free to use then you can add on gscraper to scrape what you want because gscraper don't have built in proxy scraper like scrapebox.

Yeah you can. It's useful for filtering huge lists like that.

GScraper is the best; however you can still scrape well with Scrapebox. And you can use the same proxies in both, so proxy isn't a main factor in this choice i suppose.

depends on how big and how hardcore you want.

I use gscraper's premium proxies with bad footprint filtered, averaging 40k-60k per minute.

So highly suggest you to use gscraper for scraping.

Can anyone give a step by step guide on building a quality list?

If you can supply GScraper a huge amount of proxies (and update the proxy list regularly of course), GScraper is far more faster than Scrapebox. But beware, it kills proxies like a milisec hitman.
There was a time I grab public proxies every now and then to feed GScraper, but I'm tired and purchased private proxies for Scrapebox, less headache (GScraper kills private proxies too if you use the crazy settings - i.e. 500 threads, Idk why but Scrapebox doesn't).

I have used old sb to scrape about 500 urls /sec that's about 30k urls/minute. All depends upon your proxies.

Presently gscraper does the job better but the new version of scrapebox should help it regain its top spot.

If you are going with Gscraper you only need public proxies and these can be found anywhere.

I am looking forward to the new scrapebox version.
