Domains which have no index pages will in 99% of the time keep their PR
when you put it backup with content.

Domains which have no index pages will still keep their PR if you make sure you
create relevant content to the incoming links.

No the PR wont vanish in the next PR update. Just make sure if the domain have health backlinks,
you should make some health content ;-)

IT DOESNT MATTER IF A SITE IS NOT INDEXED IN GOOGLE.
IF the site have a healthy WHITEHAT backlink profile you can buy it.
I have bought hundreds of domains, and I have never had any problems with this.
If the domain don't have any indexed pages, it does just mean it have been down for a longtime.
And yes the domain WILL keep its PageRank, and who cares. The visible PR doesnt matter at all.
PR have not been updated for what 9 months?

de-indexed and dropped are 2 different things, sorta

I think most of us assume the word de-indexed means that google penalized the domain and took it out of it's index

but dropped domains are de-indexed after a while also. dropped simply means the owner didn't renew the domain name and after the domain went dead google took it out of it's index

I'm over here buying dropped domains that have been de-indexed every day for networks

where did you find the domains? If you found em on expireddomains.net or something like that there is a good chance that a PR4 that is 150 days past auction has some issues.

So, I always speak with my experience, nothing more nothing less.
I bought many deindexed domains, some of them after few days were in Google, others not. The problem is that buying more domains with white hat backlink profile often work, sometimes not.

There is always the risk and I did not get the certainty from anyone/anything.

Only my opinion based on experience.

Great info guys! I am still debating on what to do. People obviously have 2 different views on this.

See this is what scares me.. I just purchased some expired domains that were 80 + days old,yet they were still indexed by google.

My conclusion is that it's risky. But could be worth trying to index if you get the domain for cheap.

yeah I did. I felt that no one would want these domains because the domain extension is so unique. And they are 150+ days old. So everyone probably thinks there penalized. I did check waybackmachine and 3/4 did look odd to me. I would trust those ones. even though they had good backlink profiles.

1 domain seemed decent. I haven't made up my mind yet though.

You need to look on which links it has. You can't just look at trust flow and citation flow.

You need to go to backlink and see if its actually legit and whitehat links.

You can make a domain with nice stats by spamming, so trust flow and citation flow are not something you can solely base it on

Deindexed doesn't mean it is penalized, i can be deindexed if it has been dropped for a long time.

Rasmusk is correct, if you dont know what a healthy backlink profile is, maybe you should not buy any domains or build any Pbn, an indexed domain can be penalized in the future, the only way to ensure quality is its BACKLINKS PROFILE!

I just went through about 2000 scraped domain names off of expireddomains-net.
Most of the site's that had good pr and weren't indexed had AWFUL spammy back link profiles. I am staying away from deindexed sites. Yeah.. maybe you'll bring it back from the grave.. but it's not worth the time and energy on the website if it doesn't index. Move on find one that's indexed. That's what I'll be doing from now on.

Right decision. Recover deindex domains it isn't 100% sure and I'm doing it only when the domain it's really good (deidexed after a lot of time).
Work with indexed domains, it's easy and fast.
