Does having the keywords in a domain name help at all when it comes to SEO?

I have seen it said elsewhere that keywords in a domain name help a lot when starting out with a domain, but frequent additions of original content are very necessary to sustain the position.

That's a great domain name, but you'll be putting yourself in the line of fire if you develop it.

Apple is very protective of their trademarks and IP and would surely come after you with a UDRP notice. Many companies often pursue such domains just being registered, not to mention being developed.

While trademark and typo domains can be a lucrative prospect for some people - it is quite risky. If you're willing to risk the time and money you put into developing it, an ICANN UDRP proceeding, or even lawsuits -- then it would be a great idea to develop it - this is Black Hat World, after all!

If you want to try to monetize it, be prepared to scuttle the domain because, as the above poster said, Apple will definitely come after you, pretty much any large company will these days. I had a domain that had the word Tracfone in it and monetized the hell out of - until their lawyers called. With most companies though, if you are contrite and drop the domain, they will leave you alone.

i wouldnt develop it... serious TM issues that you don't want to deal with. try to sell it on some domain forums instead
