Has anyone tried making money with SkillShare?

Hey guys

Happy to have your attention if only for a moment. I was asking myself if anyone ever tried making money on SkillShare? If anyone tried, could you guide me a little bit about the whole process?

This seems a like a great way to share knowledge to other people (for money), teach young students and even expand your business to the next level. Since I'm doing freelancing at this moment, I'm thinking of SkillShare as a way to create a passive income and gain some new customers.

I am currently an author on Udemy and I am seeing quite some success.

Just started with Skillshare.
I currently have 2 courses with them:

However in order to join the Partner Program (earn money) you need to have at least 2 courses and have 300 students.
Right now I'm at about 100, with minimal marketing from my part.

That's all I can share for the time being.

Stay away from Skillshare.com. They're the worst. They're more interested in giving your classes for free to their students instead of paying you. Hence, the long wait before getting paid and the meager payout. It should be categorized as a charitable course site; even Youtube you can get paid more and is better. Plus, they're highly amateurish in how they do things. They will approve your next, then to have it disapprove because you're missing certain details that should be visibly displayed in the process but hidden and they don't even tell you how but give you some convoluted answer.Their support is next to nothing with incompetent people taking forever to respond to your ticket who don't a grasp for English.

Stick with Udemy, and it's unfortunate Skillfeed is no longer available because they were much better and you could actually make money from them, unlike Skillshare. Good luck with Skillshare. Nobody makes money from Skillshare, a cheap charlie platform.

Bottom line is, Skillshare may be good for students but the absolute worst for teachers.
