Will google ban me for using translated duplicated content?

Howdy,

so one of my sites has good quality content. I just started a new pbn site that will rank on one specific long tail keyword that I have on my moneysite, how ever, this new site is in another language.

I know this language a bit, so I just translated my content from my main site with google translate, and fixed the errors manually and put it on my pbn site.

Can google feel that im using content from another page, but translated with googleTL?

Anyone who knows, or have tried this before?

well not really, I know this language a bit (very similair to my first language), and I can read it and it does translate really good I must say. And also I corrected some stuff that didn't look good

As long as the translated content reads well and retains the quality of the original, your site should be safe from duplicate content penalties. However, a penalty is still possible.

Publishing translated content this way:

mydomain.com - English content
fr.mydomain.com French content
de.mydomain.com German content

...is the best way to publish translated content without any fear of incurring a penalty.

If you think about it in a broader aspect, your site will have shit content and you will have a very high bounce rate. What's the use of that anyway?

Google owns Google Translate => Google will know that you are using their tool to trickle SERPs.

If you use google translate to translate the articles, I recommend you to spin the words with different synonyms so it looks more unique

They shouldn't catch you if you spin the content. You would need to review the translation first before you spin it, otherwise it might not be to readable.

You should always think:
"If I worked at google and this idea I have was the idea of many other persons, Will it rank?"
Of course it wont,either if the engineers havent figure out the method to not rank pages that use the own google translation algorithm. This will work for a few weeks or months. But later your little empire will go down.
Try to inject some other paragraphs from other articles.
Why not doing a mashup?

Not if you spent the time to make the content quality look slightly different and have a high quality translator

- Put Translated Content in Spinner

You may want to consider writing (or having written ) legit content for your websites. This way you won't have to worry about things like being banned and you will be able to build web properties with staying power.

I wouldn't rely on Google Translate, not even if you make the modifications. I'm pretty sure it's not (or will not be) safe.

seriously lots of people or gurus will just say anything... People check video, it's explained that it will not considered duplicate content and so no fear of duplicate content penalty...

However no auto tool will create good translated copy and it requires human touch so you have to be concerned with quality issue...

Translated Content----> No Duplicate Content Penalty---->Quality Concern

Quality concern is universal thing and it is applicable with every language....

People stop giving advise when you don't know thing about topic... People are giving advise to spin content, add things to make it more unique where as work needed on quality issue...LOL

Anyway good thing is few people know what was asked and they either knew about topic or looked for answers... Thanks for giving quality advise not mentioning name but any one who read this thread and watch video will automatically understand...

Thanks for all the answers guys. I think a few people didn't read my full post, since I wrote that I know this language a bit and that I edited the text a bit som that it was infact, really good content. However, thanks for your answers. My site seems to be ranking better then expected

oyim2000, thanks a lot for the link... I think it's the first time I actually believe what MC has to say.
My friend asked me why I don't translate the content into different languages and I told him that it's not cheap... as I always thought that just using google translate is a very bad idea as some of the stuff becomes unreadable.
