[LEARN FROM THIS] Examples of persuasive landing pages. GREAT for studying split-testing

Landing pages are common practice for any marketer. Yet a lot of people suck at building good landers. Anyone and I mean ANYONE who does some sort of marketing should build a persuasive landing page at one point or another.

There are countless tips and guides on BHW and other forums on how to do that. Pages and pages of knowledge ready to be used. Look them up with search if you are just starting out.

But if you are anything like me and did your fair share of lander buildin' in your recent daysthen you probably like to learn from an example just as much (if not more) as you do from theory.

As I was browsing through the web earlier this pop-under opened up. It got my attention and made me surprisingly curious. I studied this well built lander a little bit and found out there are a bunch of other versions of it (split tests), ready to be learned from as well.

Here are 35x examples of landing pages for same identical product. Learn from it. Study it. Learn from it more.
Product: MacKeeper, some sort of all-in-one system utility software for MAC

Creation date is in ascending order. 1,2,3... are oldest while 35,34,33,32,31... look like something built in 2013.


Learn from this. Study this. Learn from this some more.

Check where the banners are placed. Observe position and colors of the buttons. Text elements, picture elements, performance charts. Soak knowledge in like a sponge. There is a great deal of knowledge to be learned from these pages.
For one, notice how the .../17 lander is extremely simple (KISS - keep it simple stupid) yet performs GREAT. Much better than any other landers. More crap you bloat onto your site, the worse it gets.
Notice how best performing landers focus strongly on WII-FM (whats in it for me) and have little BS.

It takes no effort to learn a great deal from these pages. It's as simple as copying it's methods directly. No brain power involved.
But if you do take the extra step and spend some time to understand why it works you'll learn a great deal more.

Now go check those links and dissect them up like a frog. LEARN from it then put it into use!

Sometimes I notice that those simple landing page has more conversation than those professional landing page.
I guess it is those psychology approach that people think those nice build landing page must be done by marketers. And marketers are there to sell them something.

I was going to say the same thing, this damn thing always finds a way to get in front of my eyes. I do agree on 17 probably looking the best though.
