A question about Yahoo Answers

Did anyone notice that Yahoo Answers started to hide answers that contain links in their bodies? Each time that I try to answer a relevant question and I put a link in the body of the answer - my answer is automatically invisuble. It exists, but I can only see it when I'm logged in under the user that I answered the question with. When I'm not logged in, or logged in under a different user - I can't see the answer that I posted at all.
I use a lot of different users, and I use proxies as well.
I understood that they made some difference that will try to make the answer's content more relevant to the question's topic, but I'm sure that my answers that I post are more than relevant. I tried to post shortened URLs, tried to post answers with mainstream links (hell, I put a naked URL to YouTube and it became invisible)

Has anyone else noticed that? Did it happen to anyone else? Did anyone manage to make their answers visible with links inside the answers' bodies?

Yeah Yahoo have started hiding some answers that contain links or certain keywords.

They might have a filter that just allows links to common resources such as Wikipedia, WikiHow and the like..

I buy Y! answers in bulk (answers, not accounts), and I happened to be reviewing a recently delivered order yesterday. All links were live and visible for me.

Yes I have definately noticed that and I've also noticed that it's extremely harder because it was already hard to keep a new account from being suspended, but I haven't figured out a way to combat the hidden answers problem yet but I'm sure I will soon because this is a major thing for me and others too I'm sure.

Links from Yahoo Answers are fairly good, therefore you can have as many as you want as long as you vary your anchor text. Most of the time, it's not about where the links come from but how they are used.

I've done an experiment on one of my websites in the past. I've combined links from yahoo answers with other types of links for a period of time. Unfortunately they didn't seem to help too much. I guess Google already knows that yahoo answers is spammed to death, even if they are using some restrictions. In my opinion, this not such a big loss.

Yahoo have made some changes, and from what I see - it doesn't relevant anymore. It seems that even level 1 users can post URLs that would be clickable and will be considered as links. I use both level 1 & 2 users for any case, but that's not the issue anyhow.

Well, many real non-spamming users are complaining their answers are blocked/hidden by YA now, even if they are answering the question - it looks like YA team screwed something here

If the answer is being chosen as best, it will be nr 1 of course, just as it used to be before. But i need to be at least nr 2, right under the best answer at least (i am answering questions that already have best answer). Still have no idea how to do it

Thats really strange, i am experiencing the same problem now. As you can see in my answer above, there was no such problem for me about a 1,5 month ago.

But now, every single answer that contains a link is not shown to other users. It seems they really have some word filter and when they see some question/answer with "bad words" and a link, they hide it completely. And it seems they are adding new "bad words" through time, because i have had no problems in my niche, they started few days before

They hide even a domain(dot)com, not sure how to deal with it - does anybody know?

Yea... ever since people started spamming YA, they had to put counter measures in place.

Best way to use YA is to build up a autoritive account and ansering questios in your niche.
