Will using your main KW in the MENU on a site with 25 pages trigger OVEROPTIMIZATION?

Hello everybody! Will using your main KW in the MENU on a site with 25 pages trigger overoptimization? There are some big sites, which would be screwed if this was true, but I am still in doubt, whether I should better use some made up menu titles instead of the main KW (wich would fit much better).

I think you are putting the main keyword in the menu only once? If its correct, then you dont need to worry about over optimization.

Yes. The only repetition is a word which is part of the main KW. Like this: MENU = DISEASE Treatment (main KW) | DISEASE Remedies (2nd KW) | DISEASE info | other KW (doesn't contain "desease"). They all are separate topics.

No, it isn't the same. According to PHPbuilt, if you have the same keyword in the titles of your posts, tags, and categories, there would be many instances of the same keyword which could lead to over-optimisation.

However, in your case, 'disease" will appear only 3 times on your page excluding the number of times it occurs in your article, and the word 'disease' is not even your target keyword. It just one of the words your target keyword contains, so don't worry about over-optimisation.
