I had a friend who joined a group like this. They banned all his accounts for feedback manipulation. Good luck!
I do a lot of feedback manipulation in my accounts and never get banned.
There are already facebook groups for this.
Post not only your items but also other good items you find just for feedback.
Also tweet your items with #ebayfeedback

The pages are not updated but it's cool to look other items from the same sellers.
It could be a lot better if everybody posted their links there on the same page.

I don't think the facebook thing is risky.
I used to do a lot of feedback manipulation between my stealth accounts and was never banned for that but I agree it's riky if not well done.
The facebook/twitter method seems even more safe as long as people use it well. It's just people posting their listings.

ebay pays people to search these things and reads these forums and will put someone under cover and bust all you little kids who put things out in the open! And all your linked accounts will be checked 1 by 1 and you will all go down! lol Chances are within 24 hours they do this! Good luck kids.

I wouldn't advise to do that unless you are very careful. Ebay can pick on these kind of things pretty quickly and your account will be banned.
Best thing to build feedback is to sell something very cheap, maybe start with cheap ebooks. There are many sellers on ebay selling ebooks costing around $0.50

What if some idiot/competitor/whatever leaves negative instead of positive? What will you do? I tell you what: start from scratch even before you sold anything meaningful.
How many idiots/competitors/whatever do you guesstimate in ebay?
Reading this post I wonder if most people here ever dealt with ebay.
I run more than 100 accounts at any given time and to kickstart an account the right way you NEED to control your initial feedback to guarantee you get 5-star DSRs all the way.
From time to time I get accounts banned because it's just the way things are (if not what would be the need for stealth accounts) but NEVER EVER I got an account banned for feedback manipulation.
So either you are making some serious mistakes or you're just telling ghost stories.
