I feel like paying $10 a month is a little overboard for my stealth eBay account. Considering I have way more than one stealth account, this can add up extremely. Does anybody know of some cheap hosting for my stealths?

Thank you

im sure you can get 2 on each auctivaa account

I don't have any VPS recommendations, but if you're looking for an alternative and cost effective way to access your stealths, you might consider buying a 3G/4G hotspot. You would pay about $15-60 a month depending on the provider and the plan you're on, but you can essentially run an unlimited amount of accounts on it. (You can also try tethering if you already have a compatible plan with your smartphone or tablet)

Woah woah woah, is it possible you can explain this more? I know with my iPhone, I am able to turn on airplane mode then off, to get a new IP address. Is it just like that?

Winity its nice and you can sometimes find some offer codes, you can also add additional IP's if you want rather than bulking on more boxes.

You can also get the boxes in different locations to match your shill/fake accounts.

Yes, it's exactly like that. You usually get a new IP every time you turn airplane mode on and then off again. I say usually because not all providers are equal - some have bigger IP pools than others, and for some it may take a complete restart of the device to get a new IP - but it definitely works. You could even use your iPhone instead for a free solution if that's already a part of your cellphone plan. Though it depends on the IP range - mine has a very narrow range so I only use it for one stealth account. For the others, I use a variety of hotspots.

If you do decide to go the VPS route instead, be careful of running all your accounts through one provider. If eBay suspects stealth activity is going on (or a lot of people have had banned accounts with that provider), they can and will go on a banning spree on all accounts from that provider, especially if the ISP is an obvious VPS/VPN/Proxy. That very thing happened a few months ago and caused a lot of problems shortly after the eBay password hacks. So try to spread out your accounts across multiple different providers if possible.

Well... last night, three of my stealth accounts got shot down. Pretty sure it was because I was using my iPhone IP address'. Because I think the IP range was definitely running out of new IP's. I am definitely sticking to VPS's.

But, thanks for the note of keeping my accounts spread out. I just bought two VPS's though, from the vpswindowsbiz. Do you think having two stealth accounts at the same provider in the the same location is alright? Only two stealths, I will start moving my stealth's to different places. Of course the IP's are different.

Thank you

Did they go down at the same time? Sounds like they were linked, which is a serious problem. Though the IP address wouldn't cause them to get suspended (at least not in this case); it was likely another reason.

It could be a variety of reasons such as the items you're selling, using the same pictures across multiple accounts, etc. The IP addresses could have led to the suspension, but it definitely wasn't the only reason (you don't get suspended because of being linked, you get suspended for doing suspicious things or breaking their policies) so I suggest figuring out why your accounts were suspended so you can avoid that from happening ever again. If you need help figuring it out, you can post the methods of how you create accounts here and I'll see if there's a flaw somewhere.

Depends on the size of the city their IPs are located in. Two from the same provider would be fine if their servers are in Los Angeles for example, but if it's a smaller city then I would recommend against it.

You can find a cheap VPS everywhere the key is not using one that has been recycled.

They were most likely linking it to one of my banned accounts. That is the only way I can think of.

Stay away from Amazon VPSs - eBay suspended almost all accounts that were ran on them a few months ago.

Yep, I suspected that, now you have to find out how, or else moving to a new VPS won't solve your problem - you'll just be linked again eventually because if you don't know exactly why then you're likely to make the same mistake again. Did you use the same pictures for your listings for multiple stealths? Do you sell the same products across multiple stealths? Did you accidentally use the same (or even similar) information across multiple accounts)? Those are just some things that could cause linkage.
