OK considering that people are going crazy over this one
I thought id share a method that has made me some decent money from big guru launches..
Step1: sign up for jvnotifypro and any other such jv networks.
Most gurus try to recruit affiliates from such sites and this is normally done like 2 to 3 months even before the public is told about the pre launch notification page.
So every few months some "guru" aka snake oil salesman will send out an offer.
Sign up at his JV page and get all the low down on his product. If the guy is not very well known you might even get a pre launch draft copy of the product.. but that's beyond the point.. The point is to know of the opportunity as early as possible.
And try and pick offers that are high ticket items so all you need is a few sales to make a nice chunk of change.
Step 2: create squidoo lenses and hubpages with the products keyword in it. Fill the page content with keywords that people will search for.
Example if you were trying to promote mass control, youd add frank kern, mass control review, mass control scam etc as text in the content of the lens or the hubpage.
Step 3: ping these lenses and hubpages
Step 4: try and get as many backlinks you can with the keywords in the anchor text
Step 5: use all kinds of social promotion on it.. ie social bookmarking, propeller, stumbleupon etc
Step 6: if you have access to any videos from the prelaunch, edit them and submit them to youtube with your lens url
For each such launch make at least 5 lenses and 5 hub pages with different keyword combos in them.
= 4 hours of work.
Next sit back and wait after a few weeks your lens/hub will rank in the top 5 and in most cases even above the site owners url.
This doesn't work 100% and some lenses might show up, others wont.
Now wait till some guy visits your lens and makes a purchase... kaching!
