Hello!
Sorry but I need to know, I have this really awkward situation, so I one Indian friend asked me for help, that maybe I could help him with monet tranfare one client can pay only with paypal. But my friend he doesn`t have payapl account, so maybe I could to do payapl transaction and witdraw to my credit card and then sent him the money. Ok I did so, but the main problem is that few days ago I go into paypal and see my account balance is negative and I have a claim on me. It seems that that indian guy took the money but didn`t to the job, so now I need to refund money, but I don`t have the money to refund, and I don`t know what will hapen next if I can`t pay the money back to that guy ?
Plus that indian guy that I helped has disapered haven`t been skype online for week and can`t reach him on phone aswell, I knew this guy for some long time, he even did website job for me and was really good, and seemed to be really legit guy, but well that what happens when you want to help someone out.
But okey, the main question what happens to my account if I can`t pay back the money to that cosutmer, account got banned, I go to jail, or what ???
The amount of money is 200? !

Ok thanks I checked those threads, so my sitation I`m from Europe not UK, Ireland or Germany, I don`t have linked any bank accounts on my paypal, but only 2 debitcards, and my reall adress.

So your friend has disappeared, took the cash, and left you holding the bag? The customer of his did a chargeback on your account?

Sorry but the only thing to do is clean up your friends mess. Oh and be careful who you call friends.

I know, I will never again trust none, but like I said I don`t have money to pay back, my credit card has like 2$ on bouth of them
And I was so stresed yesterday that I couldn`t get any sleep!

Does your bank accounts have money in them? Because I would advise placing a stop payment
on PayPal request if you need that cash for daily living. PP will hit the bank accounts first...

You have a window of time before anything happens and PP is not going to come after you.
Just don't lose your account all because of a so called friend. Try to work it out in time...

I don`t have any bank accounts linked to my PayPal account I ha have olny 2 DeitCards VISA and MasterCard, butbout cards are practically empty, few buck on them. I have contacted that guy who is has been screwd bt my so called "freind" more like dager staber into back, and I explain the sitation to him by even showing screenshots of operation that money had been sent to this guy, but he don`t understant, and belive this and just ask for his money back, but I can`t pay him back I don`t have that kind a money on my, and the coplain ends at 3 September and there is now way that I will get money by that time.

Well I hate to say it but there is absolutely nothing you can do but take the hit in your PP account, let it go into the
red zone, and try to send money into it before everything comes crashing down. Yeah and don't tell PP about your
case because they would not like the fact you are accepting payments for friends. Might make you a high risk client.

What did you mean by "High risk client", anyway I never do such a thing again, and trust somone, I think I get a hard leson on this one!
I woun`t be able to pay that money till 3 September, maybe I could try to refund that man after a month, because I need to get job or shit like that, because I don`t have any money right now, so to speed there are not the brightest times for me, and now this is just made a crazy nightmare.

Depending on your PP account activity PP can deem you a high risk client and terminate your account. If they
are under the impression you used your account for someone other persons purpose that could very well cause
them to think that. So I would be careful letting PP know to much.
