1) Do you guys wait for a bit before writing content and linking back to your money-site?

2) Does your PBN often outrank your money-site? Say your money-site is new (5 months old) and you place an article targeting the same keyword on a PR 4 aged site you bought for PBN. Providing you had a low/med comp keyword, wouldn't the PBN stand a good chance of ending up on page 1 anyway when the goal is to rank your money-site?

3) Is it absolutely necessary to host on DIFFERENT hosts (i.e. you shouldn't use the same host twice, despite having new accounts/diff IP's for each?)

Thanks guys!

I do usually wait with the content & linking... whether this has an effect, I'm actually not sure, but I do it as best practice.
Can't say I've ever had a PBN outrank my money site lol... that's a darn good PBN :)
And yes, different hosts all the time man... you can have some SEO hosting in there to mix it up, but always have as many eggs in as many different baskets as possible.

There's a Q&A thread going around. You should see it on the main page.

#1 - No. Immediate.
#2 - Yes it can happen.
#3 - YES. You MUST host each PBN with a diff. hosting company. Do NOT use SEO hosting, huge red flag for Google. And more than 2 links from the same IP gets devalued, so yes you pretty much have to if you want maximum results. I get hosting for $5-7/year here: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4

if you dont want your PR4 ranking for the keyword just make sure you twist your titles, h1, h2 h3 on the post on your PR4
example if your money keyword is "longboards in california" your post title and h,h2,h3 on your PR4 should be something like "The Market in California for Longboards"7e

make sure your content doesnt "target" your money keyword

1. No. You can start as soon as the PBN site is ready.
2. I've never heard of any case of a PBN outranking money sites.
3. As long as the IPs are different, you can. But no two sites should be on the same IP.

1. Yes, I first let the site get re-indexed if it was an expired domain. Just the wordpress default installation. If I have time then I will write about 200 words and or add a video to the page after removing the deafult page and change the theme. often the default installation should get indexed in 24-48 hours and sometimes sooner.

2. No real need to track PBN rankings. If you see you are getting traffic from your PBN site to your money site, then it may be worth investigating.

3. No issue if its a small network or a small part of a big network. Why not get a different hosts if you are scaling beyond a certain point?
