Damn. Fell asleep with this window wide open. Then I wake up, refresh the screen & see a bunch of very sensible replies.

It'a amazing how a good nights rest can clear your head. Cause I woke up and immediately thought "no way this is legit". And tbo, the only reason I suspected otherwise is because I don't really know a single mod on this forum. Wizgiz is the only one I actually get to see post. And it was sooo nice to see Old Salt finally drop a post in the lounge. I know he's busy all day helping people in the shitlist section..... but it would be really nice to see more mods posting in the regular forums.

In fact, I wish we could have a "mod day" once a year on BHW. A day where all mods come out to talk about their history... how they found BHW, when they were newbs, what inspired them so much to become mods etc etc.

Anyway, hope you all are enjoying your weekend. :)

I second Brix's idea, sounds real inspiring and who wouldn't love a good get together with the some of the most respected people on the forums :)

Fake, I trust all mods enough to know this is a scam.

And you are 100% sure you can vouch even for mods that are here since times before DD bought the forum?
Execs etc?
You know there is many of them that never post anything and are not active since some time.

This just reminded me of the threads Pofecker used to make.

I do agree with you in part that the MODs can seem distant but the same goes for many older members that, after spending a long time on the forum, it can become the same old circle of hype when a new 'method' is released followed by people giving up and literally, begging for the next 'method'.

Really they're almost reserving energy rather than answering the same questions that come around every few months. When talking to them away from the forum regarding a topic they are experienced in, you come to understand why they're a MOD. The forum isn't the only place to network. It can and IMO, should be a stone to hop onto much bigger things.
