I've been a member of BHW for a while now and learned quite a bit from some of the helpful posts on here.
Most of the time it's just some bits and pieces though since it seems like most people don't feel like spoonfeeding too much.
However I feel like it's time for me to give back to the community by creating a complete tutorial on how to increase your success with facebook.
Some parts of this tutorial have been mentioned in the past, but I haven't found any posts explaining the entire process I use so I'll give a shot at explaining it.
For the people who are not willing to read through my entire post my method is as follows:
1. Narrow down your audience
2. Scrape FB emails / UIDS
And then either:
A.
3. Create dummy accounts
4. Invite scraped users to become your friend
5. Suggest your page to them / Share posts from your pages
B.
3. Import the audience into your AD Manager
4. Run a FB Ads Campaign
Now some of the techniques I've implemented might already have been shared before, however this is a full guide that will show you how to get TARGETED likes on your facebook page.
Personally I run some pages that are targetted toward a very specific group of people and this the only way to reach them. Ready? Let's gstart at the beginning!
1. Narrow down your audience
Since Facebook's userbase is currently at 1.32 billion users and page visibility has been decreasing for years now it's getting more and more difficult to reach the right audience and grow your following.
Whether you are trying to promote a products, service, artist, ... the first thing to realise when doing facebook marketing is that more targeted = better. Since the amount of people that gets to see your post is linked to the page engagement by the initial post views having more targeted followers means that more users will be likely to like, share or comment on your post which will in turn increase it's visibility.
So now that you see the relevance in having a targeted audience I will explain to you how we can find those users we're looking for.
Luckily for us, facebook launched their 'Graph Search' function in March 2013 which allows users to use rather advanced search queries to find people, pages, groups & events they are looking for. Now since this search goes behind a bunch of the built in privacy settings mastering this search function will allow you to narrow your audience down as much as you like.
Now here's a list of arguments you can include in your search:
As you can see the possibilities are endless.
Now the fun part is you can combine multiple arguments into one search query, for ex:
Women who are not my friends and spoken English and like Amazon.com and are older than 20 and younger than 25 and live in London, United Kingdom
I advice you to play around with this function if you're not familiar with it and try to narrow down you're audience as much as possible. This will significantly influence your CPC when running fb ads, or increase the friend acceptance ratio if you're going down the friend invite route.
2. Scrape FB emails / UIDS
Now in order to utilise this narrowed down audience we will want to get them to either like our posts or engage with our content.
Since you're probably looking at hundreds or even thousands of potential customers / fans this isn't something we'll do manually.
Personally I use ULead pro for this job, I'm in no way affiliated with Sashablack's product but it works great for me and I advice anyone interested in doing this to have a look:

Jasgrey recently posted a great tutorial on scraping facebook emails from people that are in facebook groups so if this works for you you can't find the thread here:
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...e-facebook-emails-4-500-emails-5-minutes.html
METHOD A
3. Create Dummy Accounts
Since there are no easy ways to invite people you aren't friends with to like your page (there have been loopholes in the past) you will want to get them as friends.
Now we don't want to run any risk of having our personal or page-owning account banned so it's best to create (a) disposable account(s) to add these people.
One thing that's important if you wan't to do this right is that you make your profile look real. And most importantly, relevant.
Let's say my page is about travel, I'd now have a list of people interested in travelling, hiking, ...
To make them accept my friend request my account will ideally have to be:
For example you could create an account called 'Lisa Travels' with an avatar of a girl backpacking and a banner of some tropical rainforest.
This matters, trust me.
4. Invite scraped users to become your friend
Now that we have a list of people to add, and we have a user that they'll gladly accept a friend request from it's time to get our hands dirty.
!important: Your list should be comma separated to be loaded into facebook. If it isn't then follow the following steps
1. Open your list with Notepad, mousepad or any basic text editor
2. Copy all emails
3. Open Word / OO Writer
4. Show non-printing characters
5. Search an replace every line break with a comma (in OO Writer is is replace '$' with ', ')
After doing this you should have a text-only list of emails seperated with comma's, neat!
To invite these as friends just copy a few (I try to add less than 500 users at a time) and head over to:
https://www.facebook.com/invite.php
Paste your list in the top field, you can leave the second field (invite) blank since these people will get a friend invitation instead of an email (we're adding facebook emails remember?)
You can alse set the language of the invite (I don't think this is necessary but I do it anyway)
When ready, click invite and watch the friends pour in.
5. Suggest your page to them / Share posts from your pages
After a couple of hours/days you will have built a disposable account with a couple of hundred / thousand friends.
To invite them to a page you don't have to be an admin, if you were you'd just have suggested your page to the scraped emails, right? Follow the following steps:
Go to the page you want to suggest, find the box labeled 'people' on the left. It will show a list of users you can suggest the page to.
Scroll all the way down so the max number of users is loaded.
Now open your webconsole (Ctrl+Shift+J in Chrome, Ctrl+Shift+K in Firefox) and copy-paste the following Javascript code:
This will invite most of the people in the list. I've had to redo this a couple of times though because it doesn't work 100%; however it beats doing this manually
PROFIT!
METHOD B
3. Import the audience into your AD Manager
4. Run a FB Ads Campaign
I will not go into much detail here, if you're going down this route you should at least have a basic understanding of how FB advertising works.
However to serve your ad to the scraped userlist you should only show it to the custom audience you just created, this is an option is the ad design proces.
-------------------------
I hope this will help some of you out, if you want to reach your goals just take action and results will follow!
EDIT: I have recieved several PM's from people asking me to explain things in further detail. If you have any questions that can be asked publicly please post them in this thread so everyone can benefit from the answer!

- Since I'm using ULead I will just describe my workflow:
- Open ULead and login
- Type your graph search query into the FB search box
- Set the page scroll to Random
- (Optional) Set a maximum users to scrape
- (Optional) set a pause between each user (I don't do this and haven't had any issues scraping thousands at a time)
- When done scraping just check 'export only emails' and save your list (or UIDS if you're going for ads)
METHOD A

To make them accept my friend request my account will ideally have to be:
- Geographically near
- In the same language
- Preferably same age group
- Obviously interested in the same things
For example you could create an account called 'Lisa Travels' with an avatar of a girl backpacking and a banner of some tropical rainforest.
This matters, trust me.

}

METHOD B
3. Import the audience into your AD Manager
- Go to 'Manage Ads' -> 'Audiences'
- Click on 'Create Audience'
- Select 'Data File Custom Structure'
- Now upload your list with UIDS
- Wait for it to be approved (usually takes about half a minute)
4. Run a FB Ads Campaign
I will not go into much detail here, if you're going down this route you should at least have a basic understanding of how FB advertising works.
