Building a "authority site" from scratch step by step Journey

Hi!
Its time for little update!

After I received my guest blogs a believe one week has passed my kw is now on the 17 place
I'm hoping it will get to top 10 in the next week, but will see, time will tell.

I'm getting like 5-10 visitors a day, its not much but its a start for now.

Beside that I really don't have something new to tell.

I'm posting 5-6 articles weekly and I am considering to make a short ebook to give free after subscribing to my news letter.

That's that for today, hopefully I will have something more interesting to tell ( like my kw hitting top 10 ) in the next days.

BTW if someone knows cheap and safe links for kw diversity please let me know, I'm looking for cheap and safe links for diversity not for ranking.

I was busy this week I really didn't have the time, to make an update but that doesn't mean I didn't do anything.

Update:I have notice keyword getting better ranking overall, I have 4 in top 80 one of them is stuck around 17/18 place. I am expecting more and more kw to drop under 100 in the next month and hoping to rank top 10 two keywords soon.

I have a reason to be hoping for top 10 for two keywords, I have placed an order for blog posts for the two keywords....so I'm hopping to break the ice soon with top 10 ranking.

Other new thing, I am building a "pbn" yeah a pbn, I have purchased my first domain which is not a PR but it has DA PA 33+. I can't find a cheap hosting anywhere, There is $8/year shared hosting but I don't know it OK to have a domain for PBN on shared hosting with shared IP?
I will wait a bit and then try and find a PR3+ domain and buy it, I will build my PBN slowly ( I don't have the budget ).

My writer is on vacation so my site haven't seen fresh article a week so far.

Its a good question, but there is no correct formula on how much posts will make a site authority.
I personally think 200 good post are the beginning of authority site.

Try to focus on targeting long tail KW's. I am getting much better ROI by targeting 1000's of long tails instead of targeting a few dozen keywords. Although I need a lot more articles, but I am easily breaking 2k visitors/day mark within 2 weeks of launching a site.

Take a look at the traffic stats of a site I started on 1st August:

It's all content with no SEO done at all. All long tails

This sound interesting, what is the average monthly search of your LT keywords?

I was thinking of making article for every LT from 100 monthly searches.

I am late with the update because of a few reasons.

The first reason is I have orders ad 10 blong posts an I'm waiting for results.
The second one I have problem with my site I can't log in to the dashboard.

I have formatted the VPS ( and setup everything ) and upload the site and the SQL and now it can't log in. The site is working perfectrly but I can't add new articles.

I believe I know what is the posible problem but I need time to fix it, which I don't have right now. I need more then 4-6 hours of dedicated time to fix it.

But overall I notice small increasing of viewers to my site, but nothing significant.

I will wait to post an update until there is a reason for an update.
I don't wanna make update for non important things "I was planing to work on my site but I don't feel like it", that shit is not important.
