Mods in the BST section approving more junk

If you have a possible solution, let's hear it . . .

I may have one.

another one, don't let sellers to quote reviews more than once.
It looks just ridiculous to see a long posts with a lot of old reviews. sometimes they are from last year or even from previous service thread.
If I see it, I just look for alternative service provider.

There are some interesting ideas here . . . Keep 'em coming, guys! :)

Some services are good, some are great, and some are useless.

We can't put all the blame on the sellers, because SEO is a changing game that is impossible to predict. The sellers can only do so much.

The buyers have a responsibility as well by checking their on page SEO, link diversity, and other things on their site.

Where some services fail, others make up for the failures.

I use yo make nothing online and now I do rather well, but I wouldn't be anywhere without the SEO services offered on this site.

Increase the pricing for BST. Sellers must deposit some amount to BHW, just in case they cannot deliver and run away. How about deposit $500 to weed out the "not so serious" sellers. Of course this amount can be withdrawn out, lets say 2 months later without any shitlist issue, if not, extend the time frame longer to withdraw.

Let real buyers give "Stars" reviews like fiverr hahaha

Sellers dont hate me for this :)

Even if it seems hard without the system in, but it's better to detect the real buyer's review Vs. fake reviews made members that don't actually bought the service or receive review copies.

I will chime in as well. How about making a rule to only allow review copies to only end users and not fellow BST sellers? BST seller A ass kisses/makes good comments about BST seller B and the latter one does the same when former opens a BST. Makes it look like warriorforum sometimes. Dont get me wrong, I am not generalizing, but I have seen it happen many times.

Gotta love getting rid of competitors because you can afford something while others can't. Smells like corporate america. Think about some of the article writers here. They probably are not making enough to pay 100 a month just to have their thread open but their services are DAMN worth it. That is not to say that a price increase would overall probably increase the quality which I am all for. So that is just a small issue.

My main issue with BST approval is that I think the mods should take time to at least write more than a sentence. They got the biggest package offered (or at least that was the rule?), the very least they could do if they will approve it is give everyone some thoughts, ranking screenshots, ect. BHW has some full time staff, I think they can leave a little more feedback than "op approved".

I must agree with Leith. Although I understand that low earners will struggle or be completely unable to launch BSTs anymore, that's what will make this place the luxury brand of market services. We can't pity lesser businessmen because they can't afford it, since an incredible service will be worth every penny to launch.

Countless problems get solved: Every user on BHW will know the available services will perform to the highest standard, and broke salesmen with incredible services will make back everything they spent to open up. There is a forum out there that charges a hefty monthly fee, and every single person there is banking.
Higher entry qualifications are a must if we want BHW to be worth our time. As a previous BST thread owner, I closed shop because this place draws very cheap customers. When $500+ quality services become the norm here, opening shop won't feel like I'm dealing with children.

It is not as if Moderators get paid to do what it is they do. This is a very large, if not the biggest Black Hat SEO forum the internet has to offer. Last that I checked, new methods are being posted every day. Along with new methods you have reports, false reports, BST requests, flame war threads, the sections we do not even see (Junior Executive VIP, Executive VIP, and who knows what else when you reach that level), the downloads section, all threads being supervised to make sure they are in the right section, spam thread removal, and infamous shit list threads. Consider the amount of personal messages moderators receive per day. With a focus on the more active moderators.

With what I said above, with new users being registered every day too, and manage things besides the moderator's normal & business life takes some work. With the amount of success an HONEST (not pointing any fingers) BST thread would make, it is a privilege here to have. $30 per year is not any sort of damaging amount to a members income if that member being here for a few months and trying some of the literally free money making threads that are on this forum.

With all of that to manage, there are going to be threads that get passed a moderator's detection. I admit, an approval process may need to be more thorough, but that is coming from someone who is not a moderator. So you may take that with a grain of salt. What happens when a scam/bad thread makes it through the moderator's approval process? The thread does not do well, gets flagged, and removed/closed within a few hours to a few days time. The moderators do their jobs here. They even take the time out to answer stupid questions we have that are covered in threads and in the rules.

So what if we looked at it from another standpoint...The owner "Damien" obviously has the
most data when it comes to what people can afford to pay versus what would be too
expensive. The staff might also have access to data average users don't have available.

DD and the crew are more capable of determining a fair price with their data than
the average member could. So how about letting those with analytical data come up with
the right price like their doing right now instead of basing idea with emotions?

A lot of business implications when you raise or lower prices. Only person who could clearly
make the decision based on logic is DD and the possibly the Staff. Not to say opinions are
worthless. :D

We can't pity lesser businessmen because they can't afford it

Sorry Funkybunker but you're wrong on this one. Not being able to afford a particular
avenue of advertisement does not make someone any less of a business person nor
does it brand their talents of any less caliber. ;)

I know its a bit higher but this will for sure eliminate the people who simply buy profiles / gets previously banned and start thread on a new id.

*** $100 for jr vip is fair.

*** 2 year old account without infractions - 1000 initial post count for starting a bst / if already a bst seller then no new thread should be allowed before 500 new posts or 4 months.

*** $30 to submit the thread itself.

*** then
- $250 per month for the services which are having their biggest pack under $100
- $500 per month for the services which are having their biggest pack under $300
- $1000 per month for the services that have biggest pack more than $800
ONLY if the thread goes live - this isn't a big amount and all the bst sellers know this very well.

*** Waiting period of 30 days should be there before the thread goes live.

*** not to mention that the mods review services everyday.. they need websites to test on. they can't simply create website for every service to test on. I say the there should be a compulsion of adding a blogger / wp blog where the service will be delivered on (this only increases the cost of content of 500 words). if the mods want they can test the service on their own site.. this should be totally their call.

also, the buyers should use itraders, rate the thread and should post review of the service in the thread.

Not everyone will like this but it'll surely eliminate all the garbage / fiverr resellers out there in the BST section.

I'd like to suggest this 2 steps to avoid scammers.

1) if they are real they can put refundable deposit on BHW.so take refundable deposit.when they stop their service without any problem they can get their deposit back

2) Limit orders.according to his refundable deposit limit orders.even if they scam users then you can send their scammed money from refundable despoist

BHW is the safest place to buy and sell but nowadays some kids come and play.that's why i also afraid to buy SEO service.BTW complaining to mod is not the solution.

So DD and the staff should have to hold massive deposits in what? PayPal? And organize all of them
according to the hundreds of sales threads here. Most Scams happen outside of the marketplace
and a system like that takes on two major complications.

1. Storing the money is risky for any business.
2. It would take a ton of manual labor and tracking.

I agree, cross checking of services on timely basis is must...a service that was super at the start my degrade it later thinking that his threat has been approved henc rechecking can keep them on toes to give best...BHW is famous since it holds on the trust of people...once that is gone the value of forum goes down...This is the only forum where i have ever participated , reason only one...we can trust services here blindly...but things are changing now...
Thanks this is my observation
Note: I haven't read the sequence of comments in the thread..i have just given opinion after reading the thread.

Just submitted a BST thread...may not get approved cause what it's offering, but hopefully the staff knows I'm legit by now and that I wouldn't offer junk, etc...

many suggestions, will they be implemented? So many posting in this thread, I believe many unhappy buyers here, just no place to voice them out :) Good Thread of the month!!!

If BHW want to progress to next level, yes they must do it. If not slowly will follow WF path.

That depends on your service. If it is against the rules or is too risky for them to approve, they might not. You are a legitimate seller. There is no one questioning honest services.

I can say there are more people sticking up for the moderation system than there are unhappy buyers. The thing about most buyers, they do not do their due diligence. You must read the thread, the comments to see if there are happy/unphappy buyers, and you must know what you are buying it for. This is just an example, but when members who are not very accustomed to SEO buy a blast that is meant for tiered links, and ask the seller to send it to their money site. That is where a lot of unhappy buyers come from, by not doing proper research. I agree with some suggestions here, but I think buyers need to do their research or wait to see how the thread works out. Despite this very small problem, this is still a forum that gives more information than any other.

finally someone made thread about... here's what I think all about this as I had a lot good and bad experience in spending $ in BST particularly in seo section

1) it takes only 100 post and Jr.VIP donation and 1 simple to a mod for approval and you can start making mad $ and do nothing simply claim no reports and then try prove it he did this job or not but they do charge 100-500$ per each sell
i totally agree with this, threads that not provide reports should not be approved,if you can't provide the report for what i am paying then GTFO.even is a PBN etc you should provide report, you sell links on your PBN at your own risk.

conclusion - admins should not approve anymore threads that don't offer reports.

Where did you get the conclusion there are many unhappy buyers? Just because someone states an
opinion on how a rule or system could be changed does not make them an unhappy buyer....

Are you serious mate? Because Google would love nothing more than for reports to be tossed around.
