what matters is board followers, and what niche they are in?
do you have about 7,561 followers on 1 of your boards or less than that?
Depending on how much profit you can make with itIf you personally make 100$ per day with it then, you make the same calculations as if you would be selling a website

Top 5 boards I either own or apart of

Anywhere from 3,000 - 60,000 Followers.
Niche - Food/Recipes. Few other boards but nothing big
i should say the most important thing is followers on your own boards, and not someone else's boards, you need to be the one in control.
7,561 followers is a decent amount, you can definitely earn from them, especially in the food niche.
don't sell your account, start earning from it instead.
i am sure you can make at least a few hundred a month from that amount of followers.
Completely disagree. Your own followers are most important. I have explained this few times already on this forum, will say it again. Lately you can get system auto-ban, because of reports. The angry moms are not the biggest problem at all. There are bots that auto report posts in public boards ( the idea is to reduce the competition ). I don't know the exact number, but it's not much - it's around 5 reports on post and you get system auto-ban. Pinning to your own boards is the safest thing you can do, because the weight that report on your pin on your own post carry - 0 weight. They can report you as much they want and you will be safe from system auto-ban ( well if you really spam your board, human will take care of you of course ). So.. to pin on your own boards you need followers. I have tested both: authority accounts and thousand accounts with just public boards in them. To be honest the authority account is much better, because if you stay away from ban, your traffic stack. This is the best in Pinterest - the stacking traffic. I have blogs that receive 80-100 UV from Pinterest after 1 year of not pinning from this blog. When you have followers, the best move is to invite contributors with a lot of followers to your board. When the person accept ( he will, because he will see good boards with a lot of followers ).... when he accept and when people follow him, they will follow your board too, because they "Follow All", well they have option to follow just boards they like from your acc, but most of them follow all. So the "secret" sauce here is to build followers and to invite fast growing people to contribute, because they will "share" their followers. When you build authority account, you DON'T accept people board invitations - ignore them ! Because you don't want to share your followers, right ? And here I'm talking only about white hat tricks. Pinterest is great source of traffic, if people use it smart. I promise ! =)Completely disagree. Unless you're building a brand for yourself there is no need for followers. Pinning on big boards is the best way to drive a lot of traffic.

To answer your question about your account: I sold 26k followers account for 400$ before few days. I'm not into this business, but friend of mine asked for it. But account was build with own tools that have filters to follow real users ( well in most of the time, you never know who is automated account/marketer etc ). So my followers were active. Have seen 800+ reppins of my pins. Depend on how active your followers are ( repins of your pins ) you can count how much your account worth. This is not website, so you cant use 8x12 formula, simple because there are many ways to monetize pinterest traffic and the chance to get suspended is huge. With few words probably you can sell it for 70-80$. If it was different niche, like fashion, probably for more, but food is the most popular and saturated.
( guys DO NOT Pm me for accounts, tools and tips, I don't sell anything, so I will just ignore you )
regards
EDIT: sorry for my bad English. Also i'm not trying to offend OP, I just wanted to share this information, maybe will start a threat about pinterest.
