Hi BHW, I just made my 2nd clickbank sale! I've made 2 sales in about 80 hops. Is this a good conversion?

I'm using Bing PPC and have spent around $50 of a coupon, the sales only made me $40. Since it's a coupon I'm in profit, but technically I'm not profiting.

I feel like I'm bidding too much for my ads, which have a CTR of 2%. So is there a way to make my bids less and still get clicks, or I have to somehow keep using coupons?

Thanks

if you could simply buy traffic and make a profit with CB sales, everyone would do that all day long and we would all be rich... the only way to make this strategy be more profitable is to capture the visitors email adress BEFORE redirecting them to a clickbank product... this way the few sales you make from that traffic directly will cover part of your costs, just like it did now.... but you will build a list to which you can sell over and over again, if you go about it correctly and actually make a profit in the longer run

cheers

I see, that's very interesting. I feel like my niche is too specific to sell related products. However an building a list is a great idea. Thanks

Maybe you can tell us about your average CTR guys?
some affiliates said it is 1-2%, others said 30% and more!
So, what is the most CTR reached by affiliates generally?

That's not a terrible conversion rate at all! You were close to breaking even. Just keep testing, or try to get a higher payout.
