Do Links From Same TLD Give Diminishing Returns?

Noob question I am sure. Lets say you get two links from wordpress.com web 2.0's

Fishmaster.wordpress.com
AnglerMike.wordpress.com

What kind of stipulations are involved? Do you lose any link juice? Is there diminishing returns where using a wordpress.com link 10 times might drastically reduce effectiveness? Not just web 2.0's, but how about High PR backlinks? How about if you are pointing them to different links on your own domain? I'm curious because everybody generally uses the same 10-30 web 2.0's, and outside of PBN links and guest posts, everybody basically eats off of the same plate in terms of where there links are coming from.

I'd like to rank some inner pages, and I'm curious if its worth pointing links to it from tld's that I have already used. Thanks!

Use a new web 2.0 site whenever you can as it's deemed unnatural when your site has many backlinks from the same site. I don't think it affects link juice though unless they are hosted on the same server.

My advice, use a combination of different web 2.0 services.

Do the links from wordpress.com look natural? Were you suddenly featured somewhere the people on wordpress.com and not other places suddenly felt like linking to you? Was your link bait related to wordpress.com?

If so, then they're ok. Else it wouldn't look natural IMO.

Depends upon referring ips and links from wordpress will have similar ref ips and that will be a redflag , but there are many sites which have many links from wp , all depends upon how natural is your link profile. if you are doing C&B then just not care about it.

I've got several links from many sources. Ive used all of the major web 2.0s already though

Multiple links from any website will generally be devalued after the first few.

Since Google considers a sub domain to be a separate site, generally links from wordpress.com sub domains will not be de-valued unless they come from the same subdomain.

At some point though, too many from the root will undoubtedly trigger a spam filter.

So what do you all do after using these web 2.0's? Purchase PBN/guest post links instead? Increase tier 2 power? Just trying to streamline my process without dipping into networks. Thanks for the responses!

Lets say if you are linking to only one domain, then i would advice you to create different set of web 2.0 site for links.

There's no point getting 100 Links from same root domain.
