Tried the small package on a brand new site, saw some serious movement 3 weeks into it - not easy kws at all, should have gone for a bigger package but wanted to test it first.
So....I've ordered two more packages and will continue with the first one. I run my own SEO company in the UK, but don't have time for my own sites so am outsourcing to John. He knows his stuff and is very knowledgeable. I don't care what he does or how he does it, as long as the results are there I'll keep paying. Can't say fairer than that really
Thanks for the orders! We'll keep them rocking.
Ok, UPDATE time. Couple things I want to talk about.
1) Packages according to competition
2) Current state of algorithm and what we are doing to combat it.
Buying the Proper Package
Buying the proper package is integral to your success! Here is a basic breakdown of the type of package you should buy in correlation with the competition of your keywords.
$250 Package - great for low competition keywords. This package also kills it for local keywords in smaller cities as well as lower comp in bigger cities. Same goes for parasite pages.
$450 Package - works great for low to medium keywords. Absolutely murders it for local terms in small and large cities.
$700 Package - works great for medium to high competition keywords. Bit of an overkill for local keywords unless it's in those niches that are extremely competitive (law, RE, locksmiths etc)
$1200 Package - works for big boy terms. The guys who buy this package know exactly what I am talking about. No need to elaborate.
Here is a great way to measure your competition. Check out Serpbook.com. I use their CI (competition index) score to figure out exactly what plan I will use for my sites. Here is a good way to gauge:
CI Score
0-35 - $250 Plan
36-50 - $450 Plan
51-65 - $700 Plan
65+ - $1200 Plan
You can also dig a lot deeper by looking at the competition in the top 10 individually as a good measuring stick. **If you ever need help with this just hit me up on Skype.
Obviously there are plenty of exceptions to the rule, but this is a good general measure of how to choose your plans properly. Also, I wanted to mention, I don't ever check your on-page optimization. I figure we're all big boys here. If you can't do basic fundamental on-page SEO, please don't order this service.
2) Important discovery regarding SEO in general and our packages over the past two weeks.
A lot of you have been talking about this new "google sandbox" algo update regarding new sites and ranking plateaus. There's certainly something that exists but it's not a new site "sandbox" like many of you believe, it's a overall change in how the algorithm rewards links.
Past: Build a bunch of links, big jump, then gradual climb as your T2 indexed.
Now: Build a bunch of links, jump, another small jump as T2 indexes. Then plateau. For weeks. Or months. However long you CONTINUE TO NOT BUILD MORE LINKS.
Many of you will be stuck in your belief system full of confirmation bias that it's a new site penalty sandbox yadda yadda whatever...that's fine, I'm not here to argue. I've tested it extensively over hundreds of sites/parasites in dozens of niches and the data doesn't lie.
WHAT THIS MEANS TO MY CLIENTS
As this trend revealed itself to me as I worked through it, I realized that the packages as designed didn't quite fit the new algo updates as well as they could.
We'll now be spreading the 1st Month links out over multiple link drops to force the algo to keep your sites moving up and avoid the plateau scenario.
And more importantly, I'll be going back in (starting as soon as I post this) to all Month 2 packages and adding a scheduled staggered sequence of fresh links that will jumpstart any stalled rankings.
All subsequent months will continue to get this staggered link system. The results on my money sites (and test sites first, of course) when I implemented this style of link sequencing with the same powerful links I was already using were nothing short of amazing, so I'm excited for all my clients to experience it over the next 10-14 days as these links get built and indexed.
