If you take a look at coinmarketcap.com, you will notice how bitcoin is in a huge decline along with pretty much every other altcoin out there... Except, Reddcoin.
This could just be a matter of luck, but to me it says a lot more. For those of you who are new to CC, mostly every altcoin follows in the footsteps of bitcoin. When bitcoin tanks, so does every other alt coin, and vise versa.
The fact that Reddcoin is untethered to Bitcoin at the moment is a sign that it could be one of the few real contenders for Bitcoin's position, in the upcoming years.
The price is still relatively cheap for RDD, so now might be a good time to investigate what this coin is all about. Personally, the value of my RDD has already quadrupled since I bought it, and this is only just the beginning.
If Reddcoin does what it is designed to do, becomes the social currency, and it adopted by one of the major social media platforms, then Reddcoin could hit a half billion market cap in the snap of a finger.
I honestly believe the future of social media will involve tipping instead of just liking. This will reinvent social media, and will inspire content creators to create better content, as well as inspiring consumers of content, to become content creators themselves. It will be a revolution, and I see it happening in the next few years.
It's just a matter of which coin will make it there first. With the community, innovation, and development team of Reddcoin, I feel RDD has a huge shot of winning the race. Only time will tell.
