can you please share with us your experience with Google Sandbox or ranking waiting period after May everyone is talking about right now.

I haven't started any new money sites since February this year. I tend to focus on my main earners by building links to the old pages that already rank and produce money. However, I've started a test at the beginning of this month and will probably soon transform it into a case study for BHW. 5 new similar domains in the same niche. Same anchor text from 70 PBN sites to begin with, to every site. So far just some crazy dancing. Money sites have around 7-10 unique posts.

The reason I started 5 sites is simply because some domains tend to rank while others don't. Are you familiar with the random ranking factor which quite a lot of people speak about lately?

Each PBN blog can link to your 3 websites. How?

Create articles focusing on the respective topic of each PBN blog and find a way to slip your links in. For example, if your target keyword was "best tablets" for one of your sites, and you wanted to publish it on an investment PBN blog, you could publish something along the lines of:

"I use one of the best tablets to stay on top of the latest stock news"

You see how I've included a link to the tablet site in an investment article? Do the same for the other 2 sites on each site and you can have 40 links to each of your websites.

Yep, you just made it very clear. I mentioned it before, that generic domains work great since you can re-purpose the content with a little bit of imagination, no matter what the previous owner did with that website, as long as it's clean and safe of course

Anything tagged as SEO hosting will sooner or later be hunted down by Google. There aren't so many after all. That's why I use small shared hosting accounts for my PBNs. I still have some 'alive-and-doing-well' websites hosted with some SEO hosting companies from back in the days, but since late 2013 I've been hosting each new domain I add to my PBN with a different moms and pops hosting company. It gets tricky at a certain point, but I will share a trick down the road on how to correctly find these companies and even negotiate resources if necessary. Let me know if you are interested.

My questions are:

1. What is the lowest amount of money that you need to build a PBN for beginners like me? I've read many posts and threads about building a PBN from $50 - $250, considering these numbers as a low budget PBN.

2.Have you thought about writing a step-by-step tutorial for beginners?

In the next few days, I'll receive 10 great domains for my first PBN. Just wanted to ask if you could explain the little trick regarding hosting companies.

Also, I have a few additional questions:

1.) If I register with a wrong name for hosting, won't they realize that once I pay them?
2.) Could you ever correlate too heavy linking to one of your money sites (for example, 2-3 links from 2-3 different articles on the same PBN site) to penalties? I'm just not sure how heavily I can link to one money site per PBN site. I should know that.... after all, I only have 10 PBN sites for the start and want to use all its power, but not make unnecessary footprints.
3.) Do you update your PBN sites with content that has no outgoing links? If so, do you have any ratios (for example, for every 3rd article linking out, you upload one without links)?
4.) Do you update your PBN sites with content that links to other authority sites?
5.) Have you tried mixing in outgoing links to authority sites within the articles that actually link to your money site? Is there any benefit, besides making it more random?
6.) Do you block ahref, majestic etc. crawlers on ALL sites? Or randomized?
7.) Do you make any efforts to make your PBN survive manual reviews? If so, what actions can you recommend?

A lot of questions, and I might have some more when I come home.

Awesome answer, but I was thinking about the footprint behind 40 sites linking to the 3 same websites everytime.

I asked that question because I am seeing Public BN deindexed, and I dont know if it is because of spun content( dont know if it is spun or not because my english is not perfect and for me i does not look bad) or because there is an obvious footprint of linking always to the same sites .

That's a valid concern. The solution is building a variety of links to each money site from other sources apart from your PBN and putting each money site on different hosts (or class C IPs) as well.

Additionally, include links to authority sites in each article you publish. Potential problem precluded!

Some expired domains are deindexed because they have been dropped and Google has no reason to keep displaying them in the index. Some are deindexed because they have been penalized.

PBNs get deindexed when Google discovers the network, usually through footprints left carelessly or unknowingly.

How much do you need to start a decent sized network and how long does it take to see results?

Instead of asking you how many websites in a PBN would you consider decent, I'll do the math for a 100 domains network.

If you have 5-6 hours per day to spend searching for domains then I would say you need around 10 to 20 days to find and buy all 100 domains, which have powerful links from authority websites. Since I'm focusing mainly on expired domains, let's say you will pay an average of $15 USD per year per domain, depending on the registrar.

1) That's $1500 in registration fees just for domains.

2) You will need an aHrefs or MajesticSEO subscription, that's around $80 USD per month.

3) I always seek shared hosting providers under $1. But remember, that's not worthless $1 USD hosting. You need to constantly be looking for special offers and discount coupons from decent providers. Seek yearly hosting if you have the budget. It gets cheaper when you buy yearly. So let's say that ideally you would pay around $100 USD per month in hosting, but even I pay more for hosting a PBN of 100 sites with different companies, nameservers and A class IPs simply because it's difficult to find these.

I'll have to share a trick on how to constantly optimize the hosting costs down the road. Please remind me

As for how long does it take to see results. It depends. For old pages that are already ranked in top 100, sometimes I have them ranked in 48 hours or less.

New pages behave differently these days. I haven't been building new money sites for a while, but there are two things that you need to pay attention to: 1) random ranking factor and 2) the new sandbox or waiting period (I'll run some test and share my own results regarding the new waiting period soon)...

So you need around $1680 USD for the the first month of your PBN venture

OP, do you have experience building money sites on dropped domains? Do you advise for or against this? I'm asking because I started my PBN ventures by building a couple of money sites on dropped domains with clean history and good backlink profiles, and am not seeing these sites moving above page three. It's been several months since I started them...
