About hosting and IP addresses.
What about VPS hosting? Does it help stay organized more and cut down the price of hosting?
And what about footprints, I read about SOA record (don't know is it still actual)?
How do you set servers (setting name server and assigning IP address individually to every PBN from VPS provider)?

may i ask what are the tools that u used for the extraction of the quality links
i am using SB EDF but it just gives a list of info that u mentioned not important, e.g. DA PA TF CF.
mind sharing what are the tools that u used for this purpose?

@staypositive

We do it manually for every single domain.

Unless you're talking about something else?

I have one more question and I am unable to figure out the answer.
As the domains in PBN restricts Google bots from crawling, then how the links juices are passed to the money site shooting the rank? Technically Google is not allowed to take any info from that domain which is a part of PBNs.

Am I missing anything?

@Adeel Akhter

You aren't supposed to block Google from crawling and indexing your site.

The goal is to restrict major backlink checkers like Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz, etc

For PBN, but there's one problem that bothers me!
Should I choose an Expired Domains or new domain?
Although a lot of people say that Expired Domains used to build PBN is the best! But I still doubt it!
Please convince me! Thx

@54shagua

We use pre-owned expired/expiring domains when building a PBN simply because these carry age, authority, have an existing backlink profile and are (or at least supposed to be) indexed in Google.

If you were Google, whom would you trust more, a 10 years old site with 100+ links from other legitimate sites in the same industry or a brand new domain that was registered yesterday?

Built PBN with expired domains need backlinks ?

@54shagua

See my reply above.

But if you're talking about adding a tier 2/3 of backlinks powering your PBNs to cope with the inevitable link loss as history moves forward, then yes, that's definitely an option and plenty of people do it. We don't.

hi OP, are you still working on this thread. would love to hear your kind update and sharing!
thanks!!

@staypositive

Less often than I should, but still working.

Thinking maybe I should start a v2 of the PBN Q&A thread since plenty of things have changed and this one got wayy to big...

hey,

is it okay to build a backlink in older article by adding there some more info?

Cheers!

@Tristan Hektor

Definitely, why not.

Think Wikipedia. New content is always added, old one is always edited.

Such is the nature of the information. People discover new stuff, historical information becomes obsolete so changes are made. It's perfectly natural.

Hi Alex, back in 2014, you mentioned you used MainWP to help you with the bulk updates and backups.

It's almost 4 years now, what do you use for posting, backups and updates?

Hello , i have 15 pbn and i want setup new 1 money site !
the problems that i have i want rank the home page and too many other articles!
exemple :
homepage "how to lose weight fast"
article 1 "how to lose belly fat"
article 2 "how to lose cellulite"
article 3 "exercise to lose belly fat for women"

MY Question is :
1- how can i rank home page and all this article with my 20 pbn ?
2- how can i link my pbn to homepage and all this links?
3- can i use pbn like tier 2 ! like

pbn 1 to 5 === > web2.0 "how to lose belly fat" ====> article 1 "how to lose belly fat"
pbn 5 to 10 ===> web2.0 "how to lose cellulite" ==> article 2 "how to lose cellulite"
pbn 10 to 15 ===> web2.0 "exercise to lose belly fat for women" ==> article 2 "exercise to lose belly fat for women"

@Monceef

Google's rank brain is able to determine your site is about weight loss so it's really not necessary to create 3 different pages going after 3 very similar keywords like:

how to lose weight fast
how to lose belly fat
how to lose cellulite

Google is not stupid. They get it. They just want you to do things right.

If I were you, I would come up with a really solid, high quality, comprehensive weight loss article of somewhere in between 5k and 10k words and simply make use of all those terms you're after as naturally as possible; incorporate them as naturally as possible.

Your attempt to create a very niche specific 'how to lose weight fast' site will mostly fail. Google has already enough data about major competitors that are way more competent than you in thie field.

If you want to stand a chance in this vertical, go after a bigger healthy living/fitness project and target 'weight loss' as one of the covered topics. Make it the best in your niche and you won't regret it.

As it comes to linking.

Just link straight from your PBNs directly to your weight loss article once it's up and running.

However, make sure you do it right.

I highly recommend @Diplomat 's service (there should be a sales thread somewhere around this forum).

He has already taken care of all those issues for you.

how to hide pbn links ?please teach me guide

@nik2016

The easiest option is to build higher quality PBNs that look legitimate, almost like money sites.

Hiding in plain sight as they say.

The second one is to block most popular backlink checkers like Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz, etc via .htaccess

@antihero11

Scraping is long dead.

You can find only left-over domains by scraping.

Instead of thinking free (free being a totally wrong concept - nothing is free in this life), how about a different angle to your problem.

How about you find someone that sells domains and offer your expertise in whatever you do best in exchange for a domain?

Trade your content writing, programming, outsourcing, website building, logo designing services for a $100/$200 USD domain.

That's your 'free' domain right there.

However, you don't just get a 'free' scraped domain that most likely won't produce any results whatsoever in your linking campaign.

You actually get a semi-premium or even premium, aged, authority niche relevant SEO domain.

Think about it!

Hi Alex.
I read your new post, thats gold!
I get your point but I dont know anyone who sell high quality links in my language. Its the reason I have to make my own PBN for spanish sites. But I was thinking throw it away my PBN and buy other types of links with that money.

@antihero11

One can get quality, aged 100% Spanish domains and use these for links.

Unless you don't want to manage a PBN network and now that's a totally different thing?

(PM on Skype maybe I can help you out.)

My zodiac sign is pisces and those of you who know their astrology know that pisces like to work alone and don't really enjoy crowds.

Well, this is what I did till know and managed to build a network of over 500 sites in my PBN, in total silence. I don't claim to be a guru (and I'm open minded and DO follow plenty of other guys in the internet marketing world), but managing a such a relatively big porftolio of satellite sites requires some experience and I guess I did gather some bits of it. These days I decided to join BHW and share some of my PBN techniques here on the forum.

Since I was already starting to get questions in my introductory post I decided to start a Q&A thread, simply because this will allow the information to spread faster and will be more helpful for both beginner and intermediate (and maybe some of the advanced guys out there) PBN builders than waiting for weeks for me to compile a series of posts (which I will still do, on less known stuff, but later down the road).

So fire up your questions and let me know if I can be of any help in your PBN hustling journey ;)

I will answer any questions on:
1. finding the right domains
2. hosting your network
3. hosting tricks
4. domain registrar tricks
5. hiding your network
6. ranking techniques
7. posting to your pbn
8. debunking myths
etc..

And later on, if some of you don't agree with whatever methods I currently make use of, I will gladly start a case study thread and share my results. I also want to mention that I'm obsessed with split testing so don't just take my word for it, allow me to prove it ;)

there are PBN services that charge a premium for links that would deliver solid results for ranking. remember you get what you pay for.

also remember your onsite needs to be optimized in parallel as solid PBN links.
