Linkedin traffic in Google analytics

Google analytics shows one of my sites gets about 200 visits from Linkedin, but awstats shows just 10 visits for the same period.

Why to believe in third-party apps when you got official Google analytics. You must go with Google's product! Good Luck.

Just believe in Google analytics. It's more accurate than others. Another reason that you should believe in Google analytics is Google is the biggest search engine and of course it will base on Google analytics to rank your website.

After investigating the raw log file, I've to say Google Analytics is deadly wrong in this case. Somehow, it counts Linkedin bot as a visit.

Google analytics is the trustable one than Awstats. Follow up Google it's real. Between himanuzo idea is good.

I have alarms and special reports, also real time tracking that can be accurately compared to Analytics.

Any stats app on YOUR server will always be far more accurate than any third-party counter. Awstats resides on your server and directly accesses your raw traffic logs. Then it processes it and outputs results in a format that gives you a good overview of your traffic.

I added tracking code to the important pages myself, it works pretty accurate now.
