I have a VPS with Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard will this run on that?

I take back what I said. #website# only works for some websites. If you use it for websites in the UK or Japan, for example, it will be replaced with ".co.uk" or ".co.jp," which will let the reader know that you're using a contact form submitter.

I will stop using Paigham Bot until this is resolved.

The shortcode feature AS STATED IN THE WHATS NEW LINK, states that this feature is beta and to report any issues that one may find.

Thanks for informing us and we will get this worked out.

Since server configurations for this are often different, we dont actually offer support on those machines, however there are people that do run Paigham Bot on this. The key is pretty much is in the .net framework configuration.

We just tested this and it worked on our tests as it has for a long time (so far this is the first report of any issues. The are lots of sites that have .co.uk or .co.jp) We are not sure what exactly you are saying. Some extensions in UK have a .co.uk url and some do not. So not sure exactly what you are explaining.

Please email us at [email protected] to discuss further. That is where we offer support. This is just a sales thread.

Best Regards,

Will do, thanks.

New Paigham Bot Update-Just wanted to let you know that we took a good look at the issue you mentioned above as well as in your email and just released an update correcting the additional country extension issue. Bug fixed.

Can It scrape a ton of sites? Someone asked! Check This little video out http://screencast.com/t/SCAGgnmvPj

I loaded a blacklist with more than 200k sites in it too. Very impressive scrape with really good results considering the size of the blacklist.

Happy to report that I got it setup on my VPS and I have already ran a campaign. I got about 1200 successful submissions in about 2 hours with maybe 60 odd keywords, I actually stopped the bot before it finished all the kw's.

I think I had about 1700 duplicate urls as my keywords are similar so I got similar results.

I just started another campaign with about 500 keywords, tho I'm breaking it down into 100 kw chunks, after each run I will add successful posts to the blacklist and run the next 100 kw's

Only reason I'm breaking it down into 100 kw chunks is that if my server crashes I wont have a blacklist and will have to start all over again.

I'm using all recommended settings as far as I know and will report back

Recommended Feature

The ability to select how deep the bot scrapes

For general niches such as SEO or web design, logos etc, pretty much every contact page the bot scrapes is relevant as these are all "websites" and everyone needs a logo, SEO or web design.

But once u step outside of that type of general niche the contact pages that are being submitted to become less and less relevant to your message because the further down the scraped search results = the less relevant search results.

I'm trying to sell a music site I have and the bot is submitting to home builders, insurance agencies, baby monitor sites and all types of sites that have almost zero relevance to the keyword.

I would prefer the option to tell the bot to only scrape 3 or whatever pages deep per kw to keep the results relevant and the spam complaints down

Hey thank you for the great feedback. The feature you mention does sound like a great addition to add. I will make sure the development team looks at implementing this feature.

One note that I would mention is that there are lots of ways to acquire targeted lists some methods within Paigham Bot and some methods outside of Paigham Bot. There have been many companies in very specified niches successfully target their audience with great ROI, with little collateral Damage to unwanted sites. We have managed very large campaigns for companies ranging from B2C and B2B. Sometimes a little extra inventive or creative thinking is required for correctly targetting and formulating your entire campaign.

Again thanks for the great feedback and recommendation which will be a perfect addition to this application.

What happens when the posting catches up with the scraping? It seems that it stops posting permanently, is this correct?

If so then I need to click start posting again, and if I do does it know not to post to the urls that it already has right?

I'm talking about the same session where it's still scraping and finding pages to post to but it's no longer posting

It will leave off where it was at. It wont start over from the original list. However be sure to save your successful list before you start it again for your blacklist.

To be clear

once posting has caught up to scraping and posting stops but the scraping continues

1. I have to download the successfully posted list and add it to blacklist
2. I have to manually click start posting again
3. And I can do this while the bot is still scraping? It will recognize the newly uploaded blacklist even though the bot is still active and scraping?

Yes

1. I have to download the successfully posted list and add it to blacklist

No. But you will want to save these sites for a future black list since if the poster completes before the scraper is done then the remaining sites to post to, once posting is initiated again will start the log fresh from the next site on the list to post to so the log will be a fresh posting log. So you will save it just to have for a master blacklist. No need to add this to the already running blacklist.

2. I have to manually click start posting again
Yes. If the posting surpasses the scrapers count (this can happen since it does post super fast with max threads if you do not allow the scraper enough time to get far enough ahead. You can always choose to use less posting threads if you are on a big scrape so that the poster doesnt run faster than the scraper. Or if you have a lot of proxies you can always turn the throttle on the scrape down as well so that it also runs super fast.

3. And I can do this while the bot is still scraping? It will recognize the newly uploaded blacklist even though the bot is still active and scraping?
No. There is no need to do this. See notes above.

So i just need to click "Start Messaging" again

Right on

thanks

Added That Results Filtering. So now a couple new updates there for you and everyone else. Be sure to check them out.

NEW UPDATE: Smart Niche Filter
This new update takes Paigham Bot to the next level!

When enabled the user will be able to enter various keywords that must be present in the sites home page for various meta labels, if the keywords don't exist in the meta title or the body for example, it wont post to that particular site. There are four elements that this new update scans on a site: Meta Title, Meta Description, Body Content, and Meta Keywords.
