Hey Guys,
Apologies for not being on recently - have had two needle picks and a decomposition to deal with!
The internet marketing part of this competition is still running until the end of September, so I would appreciate it if the votes keep coming in.

Yeah it is certainly an evergreen niche which is one of the biggest draws for me.
I have seen a few things, although what disturbs me the most is the family that are on the driveway arguing about who is going to get what, whilst their poor old family member has been dead in the house for months because they couldn't be arsed to visit them whilst they were alive - but are there the second they think they can get some free stuff!
I'm not very surprised about that. Human greed at it's finest. Some people really don't have their priorities straight.

I live right near the beach, and someone shot and killed himself by the water. The cops knocked on the door of my friend's son's house and asked his wife if she had industrial sized trash bags. She asked them if they made a practice of asking the neighbors for cleaning materials, and they said they had to do it because no company was available. I guess the cleaning of crime scenes market isn't flooded.

I would be much easier if it was just blood!
I have cleaned: blood, skull fragments, brains, bile, urine, faeces, fingernails, skin, hair, teeth, razors, needles, drug paraphernalia, fleas, bedbugs, lice, H1N1 virus, MRSA, tuberculosis and blood that is positive for hepatitis and HIV.
I haven't had any positive AIDS blood yet though, or any tongues or fingers/toes
All you mentioned could have come from 1 really bad crackhouse.
Just messing around. You have my respect for sure. Few people can deal with all you deal with.

Oh my goodness. I can't imagine. Was there ever anything that made you sick or that you are a little afraid to do?

Never been scared by any jobs, even the ones where I am alone in an abandoned building after a suicide or murder. I don't believe in ghosts or anything like that so no real reason to be afraid when I am alone!
There have been a few jobs where chunks have been blown, and there was one that kinda got to me a little bit. That was only because it involved a few little kiddies.

I was wondering about the times that involved children, but didn't want to ask. I just can't imagine. I know that I said that already but this whole concept is so fascinating, sad, and morbid all wrapped up into one. I give you a lot of credit. If anyone deserves to win this, it's you.

Blackhat-dudette, were you ever at a murder scene where you knew who did it but the person wasn't arrested yet? Like say at a house and you said to yourself that you knew xyz was the one who did it? I like true crime books and this is really fascinating.
