1m search terms a month, for nine days and only thirteen sales? Does not seem to add up.

This is what I wondered too. Even though the profit is nice, 13 sales makes it look like it's not even worth ranking for that 1mil/month searches keyword. I imagine the costs of SEO for those who rank #1, with so few sales they'd be out of business.

I actually ranked a 330k keywords 2nd spot but made penny, so keywords volumn does not define the performance of the keywords.

Exactly, This Happened to me few times... I was trying to rank a Keyword having 22k searches/month... Now i am ranking 1st for that search and getting around 250-300 Visitors daily only...

BTW OP Its nice to see You made good money with GSA... Will like to know more about how it goes with the new site you are creating..

YEah! That's true search volume can't define the conversions. There are many factors involve to covert a visitor to customer.
When I am doing some thing like this I keep my main focus to the Content and Page Design!
Design and content matters alot...

Niche Also matters! Next time you do this then you must do some deep research to know you industry first then do research on to find who will be your customer!

What niche you choose? What platform you are using? Static page or any CMS i.e WP, Joomla?

I am gonna Modify Matthew Woodward's Tiered link building. Basically I will skip some steps used by him and add mine own!

9k visits a month out of 22k total searches and you are crying?
Just because you rank the first spot doesn't mean all users will click it.

Goto top and read again how did I do so!
You can't rank your site to first page that's not our fault!
Blast your main site with contextual links not 100s, 1000s link to main site and index them then see the results.

could you share the footprint/merge files you use with your keywords on scrapebox to get the link required, once you find the links on scrapebox what else do you do with the links before loading into GSA?

What are you talking about man? It exactly sums up. The rule of thumb is the #1 site usually get 40% traffic, 2# site 30%, 3# site 20%, and the rest 10% splitted between the first page. (Obviously these are just avgs...it changes depending if theres adwords competition, if you're raking a vid, if you've a snapshot next your article, how much your title is attractive, the relevance and quality of your articles compared to others etc. a lot of factors)

You are getting exactly 35-40% of 22k.

I haven't create foot prints on my own! I have collect all from BHW. Its sure that no one's gonna spoon feed you! But for your ease I would suggest you to use all related keywords to your product and general for all others i.e wiki, article...
Every time I loaded list to GSA I make sure there are no links more than 150 OBL and no duplicate domains.

methodman you are right but when you are getting 35-40% of 22K what you'll do to monetize those 35-40%?
In my case I will see that for What keyword I am getting the most of my traffic then I will optimize my landing page for the product which is related to that KW. Secondly I will make sure that my page has the ability to convert those visitors to customers..
