Question about google keyword planner/monthly searches

I know sombody gaining around 3000 unique vistors through organic searches a month . Hes rank 1, and i typed a keyword into google keyword planner and i dont see any monthly searches it just says "no data avaiable" and by the way the service he uses is clicky to see how many visits hes geting. its kind of Long keyword but i know that people searching it also because its a common phrase for this niche, so im just wondering if google keyword planner is sometimes not accurate?

Google Keyword Planner sometimes has no accurate data. It may also happen when the keyword is new like just released game, movie,etc.

Google planner sometimes don't provide accurate results specially if your keywords are long tailed, in my own experience long tail keywords will have low/ no monthly searches most of the time. so I suggest that you don't rely on one tool try various tools and base your analysis on those.

Well, Google keyword planner, for me, is reliable most of the time. It releases inaccurate data, at times. And if this is the case, you will really need to rely on other programs which do the same, to verify what you have. And I believe, having a long keyword can really affect the data released by the keyword planner.

I just ran a bunch of high volume / low competition keywords through Semrush's keyword difficulty tool. At least half were over 90% ranking difficulty. According to Google KW, they are all easy to rank.

Usually long tail keyword are less competition with minimum search result it focused to target specific location. Did you change the setting under targeting category. ? It means you can set a specific location and language in the option. By default it is automatically set to language English target US. You need to change it according to your language and location.

I did that (language and location were set to UK on both) and still, results are radically different. Semrush's analyses are usually at odds with what I get on KW tool and Spyfu... thinking of cancelling my subscription for Semrush.
