Re-upload a YT video

Hello guys,

Yesterday My vendor who has a channel in Youtube about his CB product emailed me and told to me that I can pick up any video I like from his YT channel and re-upload it to my channel. He has 35 videos in his channels. So do you think that I would be on the safe side to re-upload say 30 of those 35 video on YT? Isn't it against the YT TOS? Is there any negative and dark side in this regard?

The only thing I do is to cut "a few seconds" of the videos before uploading, But I am not sure if it is acceptable for YT to use most of the videos of a channel in another channel or not?

change the title, description, tags, and also change the size of videos, cut some seconds etc then should be fine

Well, basically, those are against YouTube's TOS. One of the things that you can do is to edit all of the details of the video. From the title to the description - these must be different from the original details. Also, you can try editing the video by adding or removing a few seconds from it.

I want to use thoses videos to earn money from clickbank not YT itself,
So are you thinking that My videos/ channel would end up with any problem form YT side?

Just curious, didn't you cut a few seconds of your videos in the new channel?

So what will happen in your case? I never noticed something like that! I didn't build any new channel recently, but for my 4-6 months old channels I don't have any problem adding a video by just removing a few seconds as I said above, So why aren't you able to do that as well??!! Don't you think that maybe it was due to promoting something which YT does not like? Something like PPD/PPC or so?

Just add an intro or outro to the video and different tiles and you're good to go.

no, i dont promote anything at all. just regular videos that i take for my site. so i added a beginning to the video that lengthens it by 10 seconds or so. i remove the tags, name, etc and always get the ! immediately unless it is a video that is not on my other channel. there is one exception though. i have some videos that are just audio. those make it through

But I am wondering why I don't have this problem!!! Yesterday I added 2 videos taken from a YT channel, I didn't notice any problem. Even one of the videos passed +301 view today.

consider yourself lucky then. basically i wanted to keep the videos on my older channels for potential futureuse. unfortunately, it isnt working, so i have to delete them to get them on the new channel

You are able to reupload any videos if the original owner allows you (if youtube automatic systems will somehow give you strikes you can just appeal them and include the letter from the video's owner that says that he allow you to use them). I just don't understand why people are afraid of doing so things if this moves doesn't contains anything that could possibly violate yt tos...

All the vendor needs to do is mark the videos as licensed under Creative Commons. Then you can use YouTube video editor to add them to your channel. You don't need to download or upload the videos and it's within their TOS.
