Yes, you are right. About cloaking (instead of redirecting), there is code:

<html>
<head>
<title>TITLE</title>
</head>

<frameset cols="*,1" frameborder="0" framespacing="0" border="0">
<frame src="http:// www. yourdomain . com" border="0" frameborder="0" name="main" noresize scrolling="auto"></frameset>
<noframes></noframes>
</html>

It is free and simple for cloaking.

There are so many good cloaker's out there,you can check out Wp Link Cloaker,used it before,and it does the job pretty decent.

Come on man, this is not cloaking. This is just framing another site. A cloaker should present different content do different types of users. either by presenting different pieces of content within a given page, or full pages, or redirecting to different pages / websites by the audience you wish to cloak. A good cloaker must have all the footprints of the audience it needs to cloak. So, for ex, if you want to cloak Google Adwords or Facebook ads, you must have all their IPs: bots, crawlers, manual reviewers etc. regardless of other footprints like Useragent strings, etc.

Failing to collect such data, will result in an immediate ban.

Ya what he said! Are people cloaking Adwords and FB ad links? Does that shit work? Where would you post the cloaked link? The best type of cloaking would be on some viral facebook shit that would show them some crazy content while unknowingly clicking an ad link. Although, I"m sure if every click you have result in a Bounced visitor you're not gonna get paid.

I wrote a trackback cloaker... the way it works is like this - it pings a blog or whatever and notifies them of a trackback to their post.

When they click on the trackback on their WP it displays the trackback on my site. It uses the referer url to determine what trackback to show them. The end result is a one-way link froim them to me.

I've been doing some other work to imrpove it by getting the IP of the server that the trackback is pointed at and checking incoming connections based on the IP as well. Simple stuff really.. I never used it though...
